Xander's POV

I didn't understand why Hector was behaving so repulsively. I wanted to kiss Tania deeply but he forced me to draw my lips away from her forehead. For some reason, not just Hector but I wasn't feeling good either. Why the fuck was I getting a bad headache? Maybe it was one of the after-effects of the wounds that were freshly stitched. But I was all good when that skilled lady doctor was sewing my wounds then why wasn't I feeling good with Tania around?

The moment I withdrew my hands from Tania's waist, I looked down on her. She was blushing profusely and didn't match my gaze until I opened my mouth to bid her a goodbye.

"Tania, now I have to leave." I said.

Tania immediately shot her gaze up. The blush was still evident from her rosy cheeks but the happiness she was holding got replaced by her frown.

Holding my hand, she said, "Mr. Xander, but you should be taking a good rest."
