When we arrived at the place where Lexie was supposed to be with my son, Emma got out of the car and I asked her to get back in.

I didn't feel at all good about the situation, and I felt guilty about the whole thing. Lexie had always loved me, and I hadn't wanted to reciprocate. I always made it clear that it was just sex, nothing more, and that I would never take on any woman.
