"Pranggg ....!"

The loud sound of a glass being thrown to the floor filled the hearing of the residents of the Andrew family. A woman came out of the kitchen with hurried steps. She was the maid at Cheryl's house. The woman immediately rushed over to the source of the sound that broke the morning silence. The woman named Ruth stumbled into Cheryl's room.

There, she saw a scene that had become more frequent and heartbreaking.

Cheryl was standing by the window, staring out at the front yard.

Ruth quickly grabbed a broom and picked up the broken glass without saying anything. She knew the lady of the house needed to be better.
