The two meet

With her long legs and strong but slender figure, Ashley was particularly eye- catching in the crowd.

"Ashley, come here, " Maria called excitedly. "You look even more graceful now than when you were on the stage. You're really a treasure."

Maria was happy. She was able to get a model a beautiful one at that, so she wanted her to look more beautiful and show her off to everyone by bringing her out.

"Thank you, Maria. I'l count on your care and help in the future, " Ashley said, raising the corners of her delicate red lips into a smile.

"Of course. You are my model now. Go inside. You should first establish a basic friendship with the interviewers tonight and try to pass the initial test in a few days," Maria smiled.

Ashley nodded and walked along the red carpet. She had done this before, so she was not anxious at all.

 She walked in a calm and elegant manner, exuding confidence from every inch of her body. 

She walked as if she was born a model and with grace and also as if the runway was made for only her.

Maria had to wait for the other models that she managed here but Ashley is like her precious prized possession because she is all she can ask for a model.

A luxurious nanny van stopped in front of Ashley and a sophisticated young woman in a black gown stepped out.

She looked like the epitome of femininity, and when she smiled, it seemed to light up everyone's hearts. 

She was none other than Lucia, one of the most famous models in the country. The young miss of the Browns, Ashley's shameless step-sister.

Maria strode forward and greeted her with a warm smile. "Miss Brown, you look very beautiful today. Your gown, your makeup is wow........"

"And also with your temperament, you'll definitely win in the show!" Maria continued

 Lucia smiled flattered by Maria's praise by did not show it 

"Don't say that, Maria. Only five models will be selected from Carrivile Country. The rest will be all selected from Europe and America. We must be careful" Lucia appeared very modest.

"Miss Brown, no worries. You would be selected. I can assure you, you would be amidst the five that would be selected from Carrivile Country."

"And when the judges see you, your look, your gown and makeup; they would have no choice but to choose you" Maria told Lucia

"Okay. I believe you" Lucia replied with a smile

"So what are the arrangements of the models for the runway or you don't have one" Lucia asked Ashley 

"Yes, I already made one" Maria replied her and continued

"And that is why I asked Ashley, our newcomer, to go in first. We must strive to get another model selected apart from you, and she's perfect for it. She has an enviable figure and looks even more beautiful than she did in the video."

"This person is from our company? Alright that's good, so I won't be the only one." 

"Wait, you said the person's name is Ashley? Your new model is called Ashley? You mean Ashley Brown" Lucia's face changed slightly as she asked all her questions in a roll

In the five years that had passed, she hadn't gotten word about Ashley at all.

No one mentions her at home even Mark and Henry seldom mentioned her, but it was obvious that they still missed her.

And when the staffs at home wants to address her, they just call her miss not eldest or youngest miss which means that bitch of a girl called Ashley is still in their hearts.

After all, she was Mark's first daughter from his first wife and Henry bride to be, so it's possible affections have started developing between the both of them.

She wonders how she managed to have a place in their hearts even with her "bad" behavior while she does not 

Nevertheless, Lucia did her best to take good care of her father, and she treated Henry well.

Over time, the two men had willingly become her most powerful backup.

But now, unexpectedly, Ashley was back!

At the thought of Ashley's stunning appearance and unmatched figure, Lucia couldn't help feeling jealous.

In the Brown family, Ashley was like a bright star in the sky, while Lucia was just a firefly in the grass.

It was only in Ashley's absence that she had the chance to shine and be seen.

Now that Ashley is back, she feels threatened. But Lucia determined in her heart that she won't give Ashley the opportunity to outshine her again.

So she would do everything humanely possible to hinder Ashley on reaching limelight.

Lucia opened the photo album in her phone and asked, "Is it her?"

Maria nodded. "Yes, that's her. Miss Brown, do you already know Ashley?"

A trace of undisguised disgust appeared in Lucia's eyes. "Maria, I don't want her to get this opportunity. And I don't want her to have any development in Starlight Entertainment Company!"

Maria shot Lucia a look of surprise because she feels Ashley is a newcomer in the showbiz and that she should have not made enemies for herself.

But what choice does she have. Lucia Brown is both her and Ashley's Boss so she immediately understood what she had to do. 

Ashley had a stunning appearance and a perfect figure for modelling. Her long legs were a great fit for this job. With all that in mind, Maria had planned to turn her into a successful model.

However, Lucia Brown was the precious daughter of the head of Brown's family and the fiancee of Henry Thompson, the young master of the Thompson's family. 

She was already considered to be a famous model in the country. Therefore, she had seniority over the new comer, Ashley.

Maria had a passion for training any good talent that came her way, but at the end of the day, keeping her job was the most important thing for her.

Besides, a model couldn't become famous with just a good figure alone.

Meanwhile, at the party, a man in a light-colored suit was standing next to Levi. He excitedly said, "Brother, this is the top show for choosing Supermodels!"
