2. THEY HAVE A BATTLE TO FIGHT

"Which girl?" Lucian's bodyguard, Wilson asked who was sitting next to the driver's seat.

"That girl," and Lucian pointed towards Nina so that Wilson can have a glimpse of her.

Wilson looked at that girl, he found her extremely beautiful and attractive. She didn't look like any other urban girl, she was extravagant and so he understood why his boss wanted her.

"She is really gorgeous, Boss," Wilson spoke.

"Yes, she is, so I don't want anyone to have her. She will be mine because I deserve her. So now I have decided that I will get her," Lucian smirked as his gaze was still fixed on Nina who looked confused, looking around the pavement.

"Okay boss, so shall we abduct her and bring her to you?" Wilson asked.

"No, not like that," the mafia king spoke.

"Then?" He confusingly asked.

"First of all find everything about her. Her name, address, family background, where she works, who her friends her, things about her past, does she has anyone in the present and every detail," Lucian spoke as he finally saw Nina walking out of his sight.

"And yeah, if she has anyone in the present, make sure to brutally murder that person, because how dare he have what I want," he ordered.

"Ok boss," Wilson answered.

"I want to know everything about her at first so that I don't have any issues in controlling her and having her," he spoke as he started to imagine Nina with him in his bed with a smirk on his face.

Nina somehow figured out a way and walked to reach the metro station. As soon as she got inside the station, she had a weird feeling that someone was following her. She immediately turned back but found no one who could be doing that. She got a bit scared and reserved the moment she felt that as something from her past flashed in front of her, but she somehow tried to be confident at this moment and walked inside the metro.

As she saw the crowd in the metro, she sighed as she felt safe, from a foreign gaze who seemed to follow her.

"Okay, this is weird. I hope I reach home safely," she thought as she searched for a place to sit. Unfortunately, all the seats were full, so she had to stand. As the metro left the station, she could feel that few of the men in the metro were staring at her, especially her sexy figure and her breasts and ass. She could feel those unwanted gazes and it made her really uncomfortable, she felt like crying.

But this wasn't something that was happening to her for the first time, it happened daily and yeah, every time it felt the same, disgusting and disturbing.

After a few stations, the station nearest to her home arrived. She got down from the metro and walked out of the station. That's when a guy followed her as well.

But before the guy could follow her outside the metro station, someone from the crowd stabbed a knife at his back, leaving him bleeding to death in the crowd.

As Nina walked towards her home, crossing the empty streets, she felt someone following her again. She was scared at this moment and walked as fast as she could to reach home. As she walked, she felt like crying, but this wasn't the time to cry, this was the time to protect herself, which she always did.

After walking for a few minutes, she finally reached her apartment, she got into the lift as soon as possible to reach her floor. As soon as the lift reached her floor, she rushed towards her apartment, opened the door and got in and locked the door from inside.

After she locked the door, she sat on the floor near the door, panting. "Thank God, I reached home," she sighed.

But her relief wasn't long-lived as the doorbell rang at that moment. She heard the doorbell and immediately got scared. She stood up and stared at the door with fear in her eyes. She stepped a few steps back that's when the doorbell rang, scaring her more. But she had to see who was there, so she took baby steps towards the door and peeked outside from the peeking hole.

After seeing the person outside, she opened the door a bit and looked at the person with questionable eyes. "Yes? How can I help you?" She asked the unknown person and in reply, the person pushed the door and forcefully entered the apartment.

On the other side,

Jasper sat in his room and was smiling thinking about something. That's when Mohit entered his room with a tray of food in his hand. He saw Jasper smiling which he rarely did, and it made him feel a bit happy.

"Jasper, your dinner," Mohit spoke as he kept the tray in front of him. "Thank you, Mohit," Jasper looked at him with a smile.

"Okay, then I should leave now," Mohit spoke as he started to walk out of the room.

"Mohit," Jasper called him.

"Yes?" Mohit turned towards him.

"Come here, sit with me, friend," he spoke.

"Sure," Mohit replied and sat beside Jasper.

"So tell me, how was your trip outside today?" Mohit asked.

"Well, initially it was bad. I was having these voices in my head which wasn't letting me be in peace and I was struggling a lot to shut down those voices but unable to do that. I sat on a bench in a park and was calming myself down, but nothing seemed to help. I was regretting my decision to go out and was in pain. But then, out of nowhere a girl came near me and patted my shoulders after which it was gone," Jasper spoke.

"A girl?" Mohit confusingly looked at Jasper, thinking it to be a hallucination again.

"Yes, she patted my shoulders to ask if everything was okay and then all of a sudden the voices in my head disappeared. My head and my vision were clear and I could think straightly. Just a mere touch it was and right now I am relieved," Jasper spoke.

"A touch? Who was that girl?" Mohit curiously asked.

"Her name is Nina," Jasper answered.

"Great, how did she look?" He asked.

"I don't know, yeah she was beautiful but the entire time we spent together, I was lost in her eyes and her beautiful smile. I couldn't notice anything else," as Jasper said that, he imagined Nina's blue eyes and her charming smile which made him smile as well.

Mohit noticed Jasper smiling and for the first time in a long time, he didn't felt anything unusual about that smile, he felt that the smile was genuine and he didn't get any negative vibes and it made him feel relieved.

"Woah, that's great," Mohit replied with a smile.

"Yeah, in fact, I am surprised and happy with whatever happened today," Jasper sighed.

"Hey, Jasper, why don't you meet her every day? It will be great for you. If she can end the voices in your head with just a mere touch then spending time with her can help you as well," Mohit excitedly spoke after thinking for a while.

Jasper listened to Mohit's idea and considered it as well. For a second he thought that he could do this, but the next moment he nodded in denial.

"No I can't do that," Jasper spoke.

"But why?" Mohit asked.

"Because if I do that, I will be betraying her and I don't want to betray her. Also, using a stranger for my benefits isn't good. I don't want to use and spend time with Nina so that I can get rid of my issues," Jasper spoke.

"How can you betray her, bro, when she is no more," Mohit thought but he couldn't dare to say that because the last time Jasper heard that she is dead, he acted like a maniac and created havoc.

He then looked towards the sky through the window with hope filled in his eyes.

"But I do hope that destiny has some games to play, and that the girl you met today has some role in your life. I pray that she enters your life like the angel, we have always wanted in your life, Jasper. I hope that she is the key to your sanity," Mohit prayed in his head as he turned his gaze towards Jasper.

After having his dinner, Mohit took the food tray from him and walked out of the room. As Mohit walked out, Jasper walked towards the window and looked at the sky.

He thought about Mohit's words and thought about how he felt when Nina was around.

"Or maybe, I should meet Nina again," he thought.

On the other hand,

Lucian was quietly sitting in his room, thinking about the girl he saw today. He was having perverted thoughts about her. He was imagining her naked in his bed, moaning his name as he was fucking her roughly. Her perfect figure, her beautiful face, he craved for it.

That's when someone knocked on the door. "Come in," Lucian responded to the knock. The door opened and Wilson entered the room.

"Boss, I have some information about the girl," Wilson spoke.

As soon as Wilson said that, Lucian stood up from his seat and looked at him. "What? Speak fast," he spoke.

"Her name is Nina Walker. Age- 24, works in StarTech one of the biggest IT giants here in Australia, earns a good amount of money, lives all by herself in an apartment she owns in South Melbourne. She hasn't contacted her parents for a long while who live in Canberra but she sends them half of her salary every month. She doesn't have many friends, one or two college friends and a few office associates and it is said that she currently has no man in her life but people aren't sure about it," Wilson informed.

"Then get sure. I do not want half baked information, I want confirmed information about her," Lucian shouted.

"Yes Boss," Wilson quietly replied.

"Anything else?" Lucian asked, somehow calming himself down.

"I have got my hold on a few pictures of the girl," Wilson spoke.

"What?" His anger suddenly vanished and he looked at Wilson in mere excitement.

"Yes, boss," Wilson spoke and took out a pen drive and gave it to Lucian. "It is in this pen drive," he informed.

"Great," Lucian's eyes lit up as he got a hold of Nina's pictures.

"And I have found out her social media accounts as well," Wilson happily claimed.

"I am proud of you, Wilson. Good job," he cheerfully spoke.

"I will send you the links," Wilson spoke and then walked out of the room.

Lucian felt extremely ecstatic as he got all this information about Nina. He looked at the pen drive with a spark in his eyes.

"It's just a matter of few days, Nina. After that, you will be mine, whether you want it or not. I will just have you because you are made for me," he smirked evilly.

Nina's Apartment

The apartment was completely quiet. The silence was unusual as it seemed like the silence after a huge storm.

The entire apartment was dark as the lights were turned off.

There was such a silence that the ticking of the clock could be heard completely.

Along with the ticking of the clock, the sobbing of a girl could be heard clearly.

Nina was sitting in one of the corners of her bedroom, hiding her face with her hands and sobbing badly.
