Chapter 6 She's Hot

The woman looked at Whitney and asked softly, "Carl, who's this?"

"My name is Whitney Cash." Whitney introduced herself. "I'm Carl's girlfriend."

The woman laughed. "You're Carl's girlfriend? Do you know who I am, then?"

Whitney turned and looked at Violet. The sight of her mother helped her gather courage to fight her rival. Then, she looked back at the woman. "It doesn't matter who you are. Carl and I are very close!"

The woman laughed louder. "Isn't this one a little too young to be my love rival, Carl?" she said coquettishly as she flipped her hair attractively.

Whitney cocked her head to a side as she watched the woman. Then, she imitated her by flipping her hair as well. That action confused her.

The woman held a hand out to Whitney. "My name is Elle. Can we be friends?"

Whitney thought for a moment, then pulled Elle a little over to the side. "If you promise not to date Carl, then we can be friends," she whispered.

"Carl, who is she?" Elle hooked her arm through Carl's and leaned her head against his shoulder.

"I'm Carl's girlfriend, okay?" she said to Whitney with a hint of arrogance.

"No way!" Whitney pouted. "He's mine!"

Elle tapped her on the forehead. She then kissed Carl while pressing her shapely body against his.

Violet frowned. Elle was going a little too far in front of a kid.

"Look, it's an airplane!" Whitney pointed above their heads, trying to divert their attention.

She failed. Elle stuck to Carl like a piece of old gum.

Dejected, Whitney stood where she was and teared up. "You're a bad lady," she told Elle.

Neither of them paid her any attention.

Seeing that her daughter was about to cry, Violet quickly made a face at her.

Whitney went over to Violet and hugged her. "You're all bullying me. I'm just a kid." She sobbed.

Carl pushed Elle away and said to Whitney coldly, "So you do know you're just a kid."

He glanced up from Whitney and at Violet, who was standing still. Then, he averted his gaze and sat down at the table.

Violet felt disgraced. Carl sounded like he was blaming Whitney's mother, which was her, for not teaching her daughter better.

Violet did not like that. Whitney was a great kid even though she tended to be obsessed with handsome guys.

Whitney leaned her head against Violet's leg. If it were any other time, Violet would've picked her up and played with her. But right now, under Carl's watchful gaze, she couldn't do that.

Thankfully, with Elle here, Violet figured that Carl probably wouldn't be able to do anything to Whitney. She forced herself to push Whitney away and went to stand at the door.

Carl saw a slender figure moving out of the corner of his eye. He looked over and found that it was "Vincent."

Following his gaze, Elle also looked over. She noticed Violet immediately.

"Is that your new bodyguard, Carl?" she asked, confused. "What's so special about him? He looks different from the others."

Her voice was as sweet as ever. It gave Violet goosebumps.

Carl did not answer and looked away. Whitney stuck by his side wordlessly while looking sad.

When Violet disappeared from sight, Carl suddenly stood up and followed her out.

Whitney was about to follow him when Elle stopped her. Her expression turned fierce.

"I don't care how old you are," she warned. "If you even think about poaching Carl from me, I won't let you live!"

"You're so fierce," Whitney said as she looked up at her. "My mommy's prettier than you!"

"Brat." Elle raised her eyebrows. "Stay away from Carl."

Elle was wary of any woman of any age who approached Carl.

Whitney stared at Elle while pouting. She was not happy about this.

Violet did not stay at the door.

Before she could go too far away, she felt someone following her. Turning, she saw that it was Carl.

Carl fixed her with a look. Violet stopped and greeted in a low voice, "Mr. Walker."

"Going to the toilet again?" Carl asked coldly.

"Huh?" Violet widened her eyes. "Yeah."

Carl narrowed his eyes. "Something wrong with your kidneys?"

Violet felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. She had a weird feeling that Carl had come out just to tease her.

Casually, she answered, "They're not as good as yours, Mr. Walker."

As soon as she said that, she clenched her fists in awkwardness. She wanted nothing more than to cut out her own tongue.

Carl smiled faintly. He patted her on the shoulder, his gaze darkening.

With him there, Violet had no choice but to head over to the men's bathroom.

It was her first time going into the men's bathroom. The layout was different from the women's. Carl stood in front of the urinal and began unzipping.

Violet tried her best to look away, but her eyes kept straying over to him.

"Are you not joining me?" Carl asked.
