Chapter 12: Welcoming Ivy

Ivory was back to doing what she loved. At first, she had no intention of leaving her room—after all, this club was not the place for her.

But she was bored most of the time, and the first time she stepped into the club, her fascination with the dance floor hooked her.

Benjamin was a jealous man. He ordered Black and Blue to keep watch as long as Ivory was on the dance floor. And the two bodyguards did well.

"Black, you heard me! It would help if you didn't repeat what you did yesterday. Do you understand?" said Ivory when they were in the particular dressing room. Black was outside while Ivory was inside and exchanged his clothes with the costume that Benjamin provided for her.

Black heard Ivory's voice from his place, but the man was in turmoil. He had received orders from Benjamin that no one could touch Ivory, while the defiant girl wanted respite.

However, if Black had not beaten Max, he might have been lifeless.
