Chapter 16: Jealousy (2)

Max couldn't accept hearing Ivory's rant, which heated his chest. The girl should not have said all that. If Ivory had been told that, then the girl wanted Benjamin.

Not just because she was drunk but because she wanted it from that pale man.

"Stop it, Ivory! Please, don't say that again. I ..."

Max couldn't continue, but inside, he was already raging with anger. He wanted to teach the girl a lesson, but what?

Max could no longer contain his feelings. He lay ivory back on the sofa, stripped off strand by strand of clothing attached to Ivory's body, scooped up the girl's lips with his lips, and kissed her deeply and soulfully. Whether he admitted it or not, he was, in fact, jealous when he heard Ivory mention Benjamin's name repeatedly.

Max could not accept the man touching Ivory even though he had no right to be angry.

Ivory was no one, even once, someone he wanted to eliminate. And remember that every time Max shudders at the thought of how ruthless he is.
