Three.

Ethan stood shirtless at his window, gazing out over the city skyline. With his toned muscles and chiseled features, he was the epitome of physical perfection. The sweatpants he was wearing hung low on his hips, revealing a tantalizing strip of abdominal muscles.

As he stared out the window lost in his thoughts, the door to his room suddenly opened and in stepped his maid, a middle-aged woman dressed in a traditional black and white uniform. Ethan turned to face her, his expression unreadable.

"Master," she said, her voice soft and respectful. "Your father is calling for you."

Ethan nodded silently, his mind still consumed with thoughts of Selena. As he made his way down the elegant hallway to his father's study, he couldn't help but wonder what his next move should be.

He knew he shouldn't have kissed Selena like that - it wasn't fair to her. But every time he tried to push her away, he found himself drawn back to her, unable to resist her charms.

As Ethan stepped into his father's study, he was greeted by the sight of his father sitting behind an imposing wooden desk, his expression stern and unyielding.

"Ethan, finally," his father said, his voice dripping with irritation. "I trust you've been busy these past few days?"

Ethan nodded curtly but said nothing.

"I suppose you know why I've called you here," his father continued, his eyes narrowing. "Our company's shares have plummeted in recent weeks, and I need you to help turn things around."

Ethan nodded again, his mind whirring. He knew his father was counting on him to take charge and restore the company's financial stability, but with his thoughts so consumed by Selena, he wasn't sure he was up to the task.

"I'll do my best, Father," he said finally, his voice barely above a whisper.

As he made his way back to his room, Ethan couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration and anger brewing inside him. He was tired of living his life according to his father's strict rules and expectations. He wanted to break free, to make his own choices.

But he knew that if he was going to do that, he needed to figure out what was going on between him and Selena first. Only then could he have a shot at finding true happiness and freedom.

He has been out of town since the day he gave in to his lust and captured her lips. Not a day goes by that doesn't think of her, her soft lips, enticing eyes and petite figure.

He got back a while ago.

She is soft and tender, too good for him, but selfish enough to want her to himself.

He couldn't let her get involved with Xander.

Ethan tossed and turned in bed, his mind consumed by thoughts of Selena and Xander. The idea of someone like Xander claiming her in the traditional werewolf way burned at him. He couldn't bear the thought of anyone else touching her, marking her as their own. It made him feel like a caged animal, locked away for his own safety.

He knew he needed to protect Selena from the treacherous world of the pack. But how could he do that? Not when she was as obstinate as a bull.

He brushed his hands over his mouth, recalling the softness of her lips. It was a dangerous game he was playing, letting himself fall for her. But he couldn't help the way he felt. Selena was like a breath of fresh air in his life, a light in the darkness.

But then there was Xander, the dark shadow that hung over everything. Ethan could tell that there was something off about the way he watched Selena. And he knew that he needed to find out what it was before it was too late.

Late in the night...

Ethan woke up sweating and gasping for air, his heart pounding furiously in his chest. Beads of sweat trickled down his forehead as he tried to make sense of the nightmare he had just experienced. His eyes darted around the dark room, searching for any signs of danger, but everything looked normal. It was just a dream, he consoled himself. But the images were still fresh in his mind, haunting him like a ghost.

In his nightmare, Ethan had seen Selena, his girlfriend, in the clutches of Xander, his rival at the werewolf pack. Xander, a monstrous werewolf, had claimed Selena as his mate forcefully, with no regard for her protests and pleas. Selena had screamed for Ethan's help, but he was powerless to stop Xander, who had thrown him away like a rag doll.

The nightmare had felt so real that Ethan had almost believed it to be true. He couldn't shake off the feeling of dread that had settled over him. What if it was a premonition? What if Selena was in danger? Pushing himself out of bed, Ethan glided to the window and peered outside. It was still dark, but he could sense the presence of his fellow werewolves patrolling the area. The pack had been on high alert ever since Xander had started making threats against their leader, Donovan.

Ethan took a deep breath and tried to calm his nerves. He needed to talk to Selena and make sure she was safe.

Ethan had a nagging feeling that something was not right. He couldn't shake off the thought that Selena was in danger. He decided to do something about it, he needed to protect her. He headed towards the woods, that's where she liked to go when she wanted some alone time. Her thoughts were more vulnerable in the woods, he could see her through her mental and emotional state.

As he reached the clearing in the woods, he could see Selena sitting in front of a tree, deep in meditation. Ethan used his special power, the ability to read minds, to peer into her thoughts. He saw flashes of her childhood, the trauma she had gone through. He also saw her current state of mind, she was peaceful, but not quite as bright as before. He wondered what had caused this change.

Ethan saw something stir in the bushes. He focused on it, and realized that it was a rogue werewolf. This werewolf was known for attacking the weaker and smaller packs. Ethan knew that Selena fell in that category, and he had to protect her.

He got ready to shift into his werewolf form, but something stopped him. He realized that he had another power, the power of telekinesis. With this power, he could control objects with his mind. He closed his eyes and focused his energies on the rogue werewolf. He visualized himself grabbing the werewolf's neck and crushing it with his mind.

As he opened his eyes, he saw that the werewolf had fallen to the ground, dead. Selena opened her eyes and gasped when she saw Ethan and yelped at the sight of the dead wolf.

"Ethan?"

He ignores stepping back.

"We should go" He orders.

Her lips part to speak but he shuts her off by walking ahead.

He heard her groan as she tailed behind.

Ethan escorted Selena back to her crib. Along the way, they spoke about how dangerous it was for her to be out in the woods by herself at such a late hour. Ethan had shared stories of predators that lurked in the woods, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting prey.

Selena listened intently to everything Ethan had to say. She knew he was right, but she also knew the woods like the back of her hand. She had grown up playing in those woods, and she couldn't just stop going there.

As they arrived at her crib, Selena invited Ethan inside. However, he politely declined, claiming that he had to get back home. But Selena was persistent, and she begged him to stay for just a little while longer.

After much persuasion, Ethan finally agreed to come inside. Once they were inside, Selena offered him a drink, but he declined. She then offered him a seat, and they continued their conversation.

Ethan couldn't help but notice how Selena's lips still looked just as enticing as they had the night they had shared their unexpected kiss. His thoughts drifted back to that night, and he couldn't help but remember how soft her lips had felt on his.

"Are you all right?" Selena's voice broke into his thoughts, and Ethan quickly turned his attention back to her.

"I'm fine," he replied, but his thoughts were still consumed by the memory of their kiss.

The silence in the room stretched on, and Ethan found himself lost in thought as he watched Selena. He couldn't help but wonder if she was thinking about their kiss as well.

He drift his attention to the pile of novels on her crib. He ran his hand over the spines, curious about what Selena liked to read. "Do you like reading?" he asked.

Selena's face lit up, and she launched into a long explanation about her love for books. As she talked, Ethan could see the passion in her eyes. He found himself nodding along to her words, even though he couldn't really follow all the details.

The silence fell again between them as Selena finished speaking. Ethan glanced at her lips once more, longing to kiss her again. But he knew he couldn't cross that line, not when he was so dangerous for her.

He cleared his throat awkwardly and stood up from her crib. "I should probably get going," he said, feeling disappointed that the conversation had come to an end.

"Okay," Selena said quietly. "Thank you, Ethan."

His forehead creased down, what exactly was she thanking him for? He's sure she didn't see him use his powers or anything.

He intended on asking what exactly she was thanking him for, but fought against it.

He gives her a curt nod, marching off to the woods.

Ethan knew that Xander and his pack were a bunch of hooligans. He didn't want to get involved with narrow minded people, so he tried to keep his distance.

Suddenly, Xander and his pack came in view urging a hiss out from Ethan's lips. The mere sight of them, rile up his temper.

Xander, the alpha of the pack, was a large and menacing wolf with piercing red eyes. He was surrounded by several other wolves, all staring at Ethan with hungry eyes.

"What do you want, Ethan?" Xander growled, taking a step forward.

Ethan held up his hands in a gesture of peace. "I mean no harm, Xander. I'm just passing through."

Xander sneered. "I know about you and Selena. Stay away from her. I have my eyes set on her."

Ethan didn't like the way Xander spoke about Selena. It made him feel angry and possessive, even though he had no right to feel that way.

"I will not let you touch her," Ethan said with conviction. "She doesn't belong to anyone."

Xander chuckled. "You're a brave little pup, Ethan. But you don't stand a chance against me and my pack."

Ethan didn't say anything. Instead, he closed his eyes and concentrated. He focused all his energy and willpower into creating a powerful aura around him. A hint of fear crept into Xander's heart as he felt the dominance emanating from Ethan.

Without another word, Ethan turned around and walked away, leaving Xander and his pack tongue-tied. He knew that he had won this round, but he also knew that the battle was far from over. Xander was not one to back down easily.

As Ethan walked back to his cabin, he couldn't help but feel conflicted. He didn't want to get involved with Xander cause it'll mean puting Selena's life in danger, it's the last thing he wants. but He knew that he would have to be careful, to tread lightly. He couldn't afford to make a wrong move, not if he wanted to protect her.
