Chapter 45

Conner’s POV

Nothing like going to your first family dinner and waking up in a cell. I had lost control of my wolf and the last thing I remember is attacking my family and the Betas of the pack. My head was throbbing and my joints hurt and I can see the aftermath of a few claw marks healing on my torso. I just pray that I didn’t hurt anyone seriously especially Eve.

Eve was the first thing I thought of when my eyes opened. That fire red hair girl has me hypnotized by her beauty and when she said the word mate, I knew that my wolf found his mate. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to control him enough to even get close to her and I was going to have to get a grip on my wolf if I was ever going to be able to be around her because my worse fear is that he would hurt her and neither of us would be able to live with ourselves if we did.
