Reese’s POV

I couldn’t believe Derrick had the audacity to come into Biker’s after I threw him out of the pack and my territory but most of all touching what was mine again. This time I’d pound the message into him myself. All I saw was red as I continued to punch him and I probably would have killed him if it wasn’t for Hunter stopping me. I could still hear Rayne calling my name through our bond begging me to help her. The fear that was in her tone drove my wolf crazy and all we wanted to do is get to our mate and protect her but seeing Derrick’s hands on her pushed me over the edge.

Covered in Derrick’s blood I looked around for Rayne but she was nowhere in sight and panic then hit me as I pushed my way through the crowd that surrounded us. Did I scare Rayne off by losing my temper in front of her? Was it too much for her to see? I must have done ten circles in the middle of the bar scanning the room looking for Rayne before Shawn walked up to me. “Have you seen Rayne?” I asked
