7. OWNED BY THE MAFIA

I was injected again, despite all my struggles to break free when they held me down.

By the time my eyes finally peeled open, I was lying on a mattress, the sunlight almost blinding me. I looked around and gasped audibly. The room was massive, and almost every single furniture inside was white.

There were chandeliers, other fancy lights, luxury designs and even some gold items laying around. The first thought I had when I saw the items was how much money I would make if I sold them.

Then I recalled that they did not belong to me, so I should not be thinking that… Well, who did it belong to?

I rubbed my temple in a bid to recall at least a little of what had gotten me here, and it took a while, but finally, something clicked and I slammed a hand over my mouth in remembrance.

"Purity! Oh my God, Denise!" I jumped off the bed with fresh tears gathering in my eyes as I called out again, "Purity! My child, please!"

I was at the metal door now, banging at it hopelessly, praying to Go
