MIRA'S POV:-
As the chilly air hit my bare legs, I shivered and shifted uncomfortably. I rubbed my cheek on something that felt soft and warm. I opened my eyes to look at the thing I rubbed my cheek on. I gasped loudly and sat up on the bed. I was shocked. I rubbed my eyes with my hands to confirm that I was not dreaming anymore. "You look like you have seen a ghost, honey bunch." Tears welled up in my eyes as his voice reached my ears again. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.
"My Wolfie, I thought I lost you. But… I mean… I failed… I saw... How… " I was not sure what I was saying or what I was trying to ask him. He chuckled hearing me struggling to find the right words. He pinched my chin lightly and guided my gaze towards his face.
"You did not fail. You were able to stab her heart before it was

MARSHA'S POV:-It felt like I was suffocating. I was gasping for air but no use. I was not able to breath. When it became too difficult for me to breathe, I forced myself to open my eyes. It took me a few seconds, I was able to open my eyes again. I gasped loudly and filled my lungs with the air around me. My lungs were burning like there was a born fire inside my chest. I sat up and started coughing hard. I did not know for how long I was gasping for air.As I was filling my lungs with the oxygen around me, I noticed something odd. I was inside the same forest. "No no no, not now. Not again. Not tonight. You just can not do that. What the fuck!" I yelled loudly as I found myself sitting on the wet and dirty soil.As always, it was foggy around. The forest was dark. There was a moon in the sky but as always, it was dark. The moon was eclipsed. Black clouds were covering the
MARSHA'S POV:-I was standing by the coffee machine, preparing myself my fifth cup of coffee since I stepped into the office. I was not able to concentrate at all. Even if I would blink, I was seeing her face. I did not sleep at all. I was worried because I had a case to take care of but I was not able to work on that. Even four cups of coffee were not able to wake up my mind to work on something other than my nightmare. It was strange, ever since I had turned sixteen, I had been having the same nightmare. Especially when Halloween is near. "Happy Halloween everyone. I wish you a lot of sweet memories and sour happinesses with your family." My friend and my partner, Sara Danish greeted everyone as she stepped into the main hall of the precinct. I rolled my eyes in annoyance and filled my cup with the coffee.I pretended as I really did no
MARSHA'S POV:-Actually, I remembered again the time when I saw her standing right in front of me. It felt as if I was still sleeping or she was real. I opened my mouth to ask her what made her say that but I saw Dr Brian coming towards us. I rolled my eyes as I knew what made him come to me."Hello beautiful ladies. How are you both?" He asked us and Sara stood up. I stared at her and signalled her not to say anything. She rolled her eyes but then she nodded her head. I sighed in relief seeing her response."We are fine, Dr Brian. How are you?" She asked and hooked one of her arms around his shoulders. I shook my head and opened the drawer of my desk to check some papers about the case I was working on."I am fine, thank you. How are you, Miss Alford? I hope everything is fin
MARSHA'S POV:-"Now what do you think? You are also invited. Will you come to the party with me?" He asked me and I sighed. I forced a smile on my face as I knew I had no other way. To be honest, Brian was really not my type. Hell, I never really knew what was my type. But I was sure Brian was not. Not that he was a bad person. He was not. He was kind and very gentle. I had known him ever since I had come back to Ireland. He had been my therapist ever since. But I really did not feel that I could be in a relationship with him. Or if I would date him ever. He was tall and handsome. But still he was not the one for me. But this time, I really did not have any other choices but to accept his proposal. All though it was just a date."Okay, I will be there. Just don't come to my apartment to pick me up." I replied and he f
MARSHA'S POV:-When we came back to Ireland, we learned the most bitter truth of our lives. My dad's best friend, whom my father trusted most. He actually took everything from my dad. When on one side I was sick, while on the other side, my father was fighting the man who he had trusted most. Dad went to his lawyer and turned out that his lawyer was actually with my dad's friend. They tricked my dad at the funeral of my mother and made him sign the papers that said my dad handed over everything to his friend. My dad went to court to claim what was truly his but nobody listened to him. They proved my father as a crazy man and he was sent to the mental hospital. After all that, my uncle came and took me to London. From Mira Lawrence,
MARSHA'S POV:-"Marsha and Sara, in my office right now." Captain Falcon said and he went back into his office. I rolled my eyes and stood up from my chair. I looked at Sara who was equally puzzled as I was. I shrugged my shoulders and she sighed. Sara came to me and leaned over my ear."What the fuck is wrong with the fatso now? What does he want from us?" She whispered into my ear and I shrugged my shoulders."I don't know but let me guess, Captain fatso has too much garbage that he could not handle at all. So he is calling us to clean all his garbage. Such a lazy fat ass." I whispered softly and we both froze into our tracks. We looked at each other's faces and broke into laughter fits. We laughed carelessly over the compliment I had given for my boss."Stop laughing like crazy women you both ar
MARSHA'S POV:-"So, will you tell us the story of the most difficult case you have solved? We would like to know. Also, it would polish our skills." Sara asked captain Falcon and I barely controlled my laugh. She was fooling him and I knew he would buy it. He was one of those people who seek audience and fame. Such a foolish man to work with us. I knew him very well."Of course I will tell you. About seven years ago, it was the first week of September. I was just a step away to become the captain. A man came to the precinct reporting for a missing girl. The captain of the precinct handed me that case along with ten officers to help me. I was in charge of leading them and I was my first case to lead a team by myself.." He started telling us the story and we both pulled the chairs closer to his seat to sit beside him."What ha
MARSHA'S POV:-"How could a mother leave her child totally helpless? Was she really Sierra's mother?" I asked Captain Falcon and he grinned proudly while looking at me. I was one of the smartest officers working under him. He knew he could expect that kind of question from me."That's why you are one of the smartest officers working under me. She was not Sierra's biological mother. Sierra was given to her by her sister, because she had lost her six children. She never gave birth to a single living child. All dead babies. She did not like her sister either, that was why she left." He replied and I felt pure rage inside my chest for that woman. Because of her selfishness, Sierra had suffered this much."So, Brian Doyle told us everything and we suspected her father and her step mother. We tried to find her real parents if they would have ta
