Hezekiah calmly drank a cup of water before looking up at the curious gazes thrown his way. With a frustrated sigh, he relaxed against his chair and asked them. "What is it?" "Where is Allen?" His father asked. "How am I supposed to know that, Father?" Hezekiah questioned back. "Don't answer my question with a question! I expect an answer." "But you have never cared about his whereabouts before so I don't see any reason why I have to give in answering you right now," Hezekiah responded with a shrug. Festus looked at Zeena and the latter, being the mother, had to nod her head apologetically on behalf of Hezekiah. "Hezekiah, that is rude. This is your father you're speaking to. What has gone into you? Has Allen been influencing you in a bad way?" Zeema lambasted her son. "I haven't been able to find my maid." Diva interrupted with a slight smile, "Does anyone perhaps know where she is? She ought to have reported for duty since but I can't find her..." "I saw her leaving wi

She had been rolling non-stop ever since she got into that portal. She groaned and slowly, her hands reached out to her back to massage the aching part. Her eyes which had been tightly shut when coming down slowly opened, adjusting to the dark scenery she had found herself in. Jane sat up gently with fear in her heart and looked around. What time
Charlotte groaned as she shifted slightly on her bed. She touched her forehead and exclaimed before groaning again. "You're awake." A mild voice from a distance interrupted her wake-up moment and she turned her head to the balcony. Kyle was wearing an armless shirt with his two hands inside his pockets. His hair was being blown by the cool night breeze and he seemed to be staring somewhere else. Kyle then turned towards her and stared at her before going over to the glass of water that he brought along with him that evening. He lifted the glass and brought it to her. Charlotte lifted her upper body and leaned against the bedframe before collecting the water with shaky hands. She drank it all and returned the cup to him. He didn't put it back in its place, instead, he placed it down beside him and interlocked his fingers. Charlotte's eyes didn't leave this demigod for one second as she calmly waited for his words that were like a ticking time bomb. "Why didn't you tell me?"
Two heavily armed guard men were stationed at the entrance of this huge black gate. There were lights all around that were neither fueled by generators nor electricity but by something else that was brighter than what one could ever imagine. One of the men noticed an image - somebody was walking towards them in slow and steady steps and he became alert. So was his companion after he noticed it too. Immediately a few armed men jumped out of nowhere and arranged themselves to prevent the person whom they perceived as strangers from entering. One of the earlier two men then approached the stranger. "Stop."The stranger did accordingly to their commands. He was wearing a black linen that covered his face so his image was not properly seen. The guard was still cautious get brave. "Remove your cover." He ordered but the stranger did not even move an inch. The guard lifted the cover off his face and was stunned to see who it was when the eyes greeted him in the dark. "Your...y
"Is she going to wake up any time soon?" "How am I supposed to know? She doesn't look like us nor does she smell like us - she smells foreign or should I say distance?" When Jane couldn't bear these voices in her head anymore, she shook her head and opened her eyes forcefully. When she suddenly saw two people bent over her, she screamed but got muffled quickly by the pain that followed that cry. Just close to her heart was a bandage then she remembered what had happened. She was carried away by these creatures to somewhere far and unexplainable - somewhere like the top of a mount and placed there. She was so weak and had to calculate with her head how long they had flown. Their appearances scared her. What type of beasts were these? Where did they come from? They didn't even look the closest to humans to all. They looked like all these creatures created by movie makers in thriller action movies - only if they knew that these creatures they used CGI to create were real. As t
The news about Allen's arrival had spread around the whole arena. No one had expected his arrival as it had been decades since he left. Rumors started going on regarding his arrival. Maybe the King was going to choose his next heir. Regardless of these rumors, none of them could stand solidly. Allen brushed his hair and stared at himself in the mirror helplessly before staring at the wall. Calculating his days here in comparison to the human world, it was already two months since his departure. Would the boys be able to handle the pressure? Because on a normal circumference, the journey through the portal wasn't supposed to take more than a few days but because they had a stranger go through it, it changed the system. His attention was called for when someone knocked on his door vigorously. He needed no one to tell him who it was. When the person didn't seem to relent, he walked towards the door and pulled it open, revealing Hezekiah with a mischievous smile. "Hello there brother.
Jane sighed as she picked a stone and threw it across the river that was in front of her. She had been here for a while, there was no clock, no smartphone, no technology, and somehow the night took longer to arrive. She sat down on a small rock and rested her head on her palm as she went deep in thought. Emily had been able to explain to her what her new world was. She remembered the conversation that they both had that night as it was still fresh in her brain. "So you claim to come from another world better than this?" Emily asked surprisingly and Jane looked around before replying affirmatively. "At least, from my experience yes." "And you people use what again?" Emily frowned. "Phoned, gadgets..." "Okay...okay, that's enough. I don't understand what those words mean. I think I will have to trust you on this because you look fragile and certainly you don't know your way around here. And also, you mentioned something about falling into what looked like a portal..."Jane nodde
(In the Mansion.) "Is she going to wake up any minute from now?" Xander asked as his gaze lingered on the beauty's rainbow hair. Drake frowned and hit his arm. "What?" Xander squeezed his face. "Stop staring at her like that." "Well, she is mysterious. What else did you expect me to do?" Xander fumed and angrily went to sit with his brother who was less concerned about the banter. They had been waiting for about four hours but the lady refused to wake up. Drake had assured them that she wasn't in any way faking it and that the power must have been too much than he thought. A few minutes later, Sophia shook her head slowly from side to side. This alerted them. They waited for her to open her eyes which finally did but she was totally displeased and disappointed at herself. Her hands were tied behind a chair, not just any rope but a magic one which she wouldn't be able to break from without alerting them. Her glares could have literally burnt down a building if it was a fire. Dra
