*Jaxon's POV*

"Are you ready?" I glanced at Piper for a moment.

We got back an hour ago. The pack woke up and everyone was gathered and waiting to hear how it all had gone.

"Yes." Piper confidently nodded.

That's one thing I love about her. She doesn't let her nerves get the better of her. Even if she feels them she pushes them aside and takes on her duties as a leader. Piper is one of the strongest female wolves I've ever met.

I've been very fortunate to be fated to her.

I never expected to meet my mate, ever to be honest. I figured after having been exiled from Moon Stone that the odds of finding one were slim. The night we went to take them down it hit me like a ton of bricks.
