If you are reading this right now, you don't know how much grateful I am. It takes a lot to start a book from the beginning, but out of the many hundreds that started this journey with me, you chose to finish this book without considering my long breaks, grammatical inaccuracy and all. I really want to appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. I'm glad you invested both time and money into my book. Bless you all.
I know the way I ended the book didn't please some of you, but it's the best I can do. I also didn't like the way I rushed my book, especially the part two. At least, Esmeralda and Selene got their happy ending. I planned on making the part two at least 30 chapters, but I have to study for my examination. It's next month and it's already here. I don't want to leave you hanging again. After my exam, I can write as much as I can because I'll be a graduate (BA) I'm studying English and literary studies 😉
This chapter was intended to appreciate those that spend time, gems, and those that liked and commented on my book.

Chapter One (Mated To The Blood Alpha) EsmeraldaI huddled up in my cell, hugging my bruised knees that touched my chest and burying my head between my lap. I was afraid.Afraid to look back at the gross darkness that overwhelmed me. By the moon goddess, I hated dark places but no amount of pleading will make my master change his mind. "Your kind belongs to a cell, shackled against a wall with no freedom!" He had said before ordering his guards to shut me up in the darkest part of the cell, hijacking the little freedom and illumination I had. I longed to be anywhere, anywhere apart from this cold, barren, empty room of darkness, save for my one bunk bed and a few used plates and cups laying on the cold floor. The only time I had the privilege of leaving my cell was when I wanted to use the restroom as the restroom was detached from my cell and when I was ordered to work for the pack, to assist in cooking, cleaning in preparation for the pack ceremony. I missed my family. Even if
Esmeralda"Get in, will you?!" I jumped in fright, holding my chest with my frail hand as the guard on duty yelled at me, indicating that I should enter the cell once again. My cold dark cell. My blood rippled at the thought of losing my freedom because I was weak, I couldn't shift to activate my super speed. My speed was no match for him as he caught me effortlessly. My screams, wails and kicks had no effects on him as he dragged me to the cell. A glare from his ugly scarred face sent shivers down my spine, making me look away in fear almost immediately, biting my fingers nervously. Those ugly sharp eyes that shot daggers at me, piercing through my soul, threatening to make me pee in my pants. If looks could kill, I would be dead. With shaky knees, I stood at the entrance of my cell with my hand still clutched tightly to my chest as if to protect it from him. Torn between two options, I flickered gaze from the murky cell that was impossible to get a glimpse of the whiteness of one
Chapter threeEsmeralda"No! Please," I cried, clinging to his leg as he dragged me into the correction room with a firm grip on my hair. I kept my gaze locked on his face, hoping he would see how remorseful I was and reverse his judgement but his eyes were solely fixed on the door of the room with a sinister look plastered on his face.I was done, I knew it. Hiding quickly in my spot to delay my punishment, I glanced around the familiar room with teary eyes to see Garry walking toward a shelf. The shelf contained a lot of instruments of torture, to break people that broke the rules. People like me. I watched Garry patiently like a hawk watching its prey as he selected some instruments that he would use in torturing me. But he suddenly stopped, moving away from the shelf with transparent glass to the whips displayed on the wall. I watched as his hands carefully selected the horsewhip. The horsewhip! The whip I dreaded most! "No! Please, don't use that on me," I screamed immedia
Chapter fourKadeI shut my eyes, slowly tapping my fingers on my thigh, clenching my chiselled jaws as I tried to contain my rage while receiving information from my Beta via mind-link. A bastard was caught snooping around the pack borders! How unlucky he was. Successfully Submerging my furious wolf who kept whining and growling in my head, I quickly mind-linked my beta to send him into the dungeon where I was. Where my captives were taken care of. I took a long drag on my tobacco, feeling the gush of adrenaline throughout my body that charged me with pleasure and vigour. "Ahhh," I exhaled slowly, puffing out the smoke in the air with my eyes tight shut. I relished the feeling and at once I was excited. Excited to execute, to cause a massacre, to wreak havoc. The swinging and slamming of the door broke my euphoria, causing my eyes to open at once. A small smile broke on my lips as I smelt my Beta fast approaching. He was the only one that could barge into my space without gett
Chapter 5Kade "Remind me where we are going and what our next agenda is," I rubbed my palms in anticipation as I got out of the inner chambers of the dungeon, glancing at Silvius who tried to keep up with my pace. "We are..." Silvius' voice trailed as he brought out an iPad, squinting his eyes a little to read the content displayed on its screen. "Let me guess," I raised my finger, interrupting him, "We have a meeting with the Alpha of the Night Walker pack," I sighed, "That bastard," "No, Alpha. You are supposed to be at the Moon ball ceremony of the Crescent Moon pack and it is themed Romance,""How? The ceremony is supposed to be tomorrow, not today. Today is Friday," I stated, getting a little irritated at the mix-up. "You are wrong, Alpha. Today is Saturday, not Friday. The meeting with the Alpha of the Night Walker pack was fixed for tomorrow and the Moon ball ceremony is today and if you don't hurry, you will be late," Silvius stated proudly, indirectly reminding me that
Chapter sixEsmeraldaLast night, I had walked into my cell feeling dejected, but this morning, I walked out of my cell the happiest person, causing confused eyes to turn in my direction, wondering the reason for my sudden happiness. The Moon ball was today! Forgetting my terrible backaches, I bounced out of my cell to the hall and collected the cleaning equipment from a senior servant who stood by the hallway with an unimpressed expression on her face. "Good morning, ma'am," I greeted with the widest smile, expecting the same from her but she welcomed me with the most disgusting expression and dismissed me almost immediately.I didn't let that get to me as I hurriedly collected the cleaning equipment from her and followed an older wolf who was followed by other pups. He was in charge of cleaning the hall that will be used for the Moon ball and he had other pups to assist him but more hands were needed as we were expecting lots of wolves from numerous packs, making them choose a fe
KadeI stood with a horrid expression for another second, pinching myself to clear my doubt whether I was still dreaming or it was reality. But it turned out to be a freaking reality. I maintained a decent distance from her, watching her keenly as she submitted to me. While she stood a mere 5'8, I towered her in height greatly at a whopping 6'4, making me have a good view of her from the crown of her head to the sole of her feet. I couldn't help but notice how her small figure trembled greatly as my aura blasted her, making her lean on the canopy stand for support. Weak.I noticed her shivering as the shabby long sleeve dress she wore wasn't doing justice to her, exposing her pale skin to cold as her tiny fingers hugged her slim waist that was hidden in her floral gown. Her odd-looking dirty wavy strawberry hair that rested on her wide hips spiked my curiosity as I stared at it strangely. It was rare for a wolf to have strawberry-coloured hair. Who was she? The more my piercing ga
Ph***eI stood erect as my hands made their way to the markings of the wall, carefully rewriting an almost erasing line that ran vertically. With my inside raging in anger, I slashed a horizontal line against the four vertical lines before I placed both hands on my head, screaming my lungs out and destroying everything within my reach.I took two steps away from the wall that I had marred with tally marks while counting the number of the days I had spent in the past since there were no calendars and tally marks were the only method I could adopt in order not to lose count of the number of days I had spent. I needed to leave this place as I was already sick of it and the mere thought of spending my forever here makes me wish for death instead. But I had to come to the reality that there was no way I could leave the past, not when the portal to the present world had been sealed shut by a group of powerful witches. No one in the world could open the portal, not even a sorcerer... except
