What is that insufferable noise? I can hear it grating on my scalp. I open my eyes. Everything still feels blurry as I blink, trying to focus. What the hell? My heart races as I find myself on a firm, unfamiliar bed. The two-bed lamps are on, casting a dim glow to the room. There is a tan fabric armchair and a dark wooden wardrobe. I wiggle my legs. They still feel lethargic as I try to move. I don’t know where I am or how I got here and I try to think the pain in my head just slices through me, creating black dots in my vision.

I lie back on the pillow as I take several deep breaths. It’s going to be okay. Who would want to kidnap me with my attitude? Is what my mother always used to tease me about? Oh fuck, I hope they are okay. I peer down, still in my cropped jumper, black skinny jeans and black leather knee-high boots. Good, the perv didn’t undress me. I suppose I should be relieved of that, but it’s not enough to stop the knots in my stomach.
