Jude's POV

The man's screams echoed in the room.

His head injury was bleeding; blood was leaking from his sides. I turned my head and sighed.

He had soiled himself twice already, and I hadn't even gotten to the best part yet.

Trailing the knife on his jaw, I smiled a sadistic smile that had him wiggling in the iron chair he was on, trying to loosen the chains that bound him.

"Sit still!" I commanded.

I don't normally torture hunters. I just killed them when I came across them, but recently, the hunters have gotten too close for comfort. I needed to send a message.

'Don't tempt me; I'm the ruthless boss for a reason, I said in my mind.

"You know, it was really stupid of you to play dead," I told him, and he nodded continuously, agreeing with my statement.

"Did you think you would be able to escape with such an act like that?" I asked, and he shook his head.
