KILLIAN'S POV

My eyes were focused on my phone screen searching for beginner baby needs, I wanted to surprise Paisley. I knew for sure that she wouldn't want my gifts but I wanted to give her my best to convince her that I am not dangerous and would never harm her or the baby.

I am not an animal but she clearly sees me as a wild one.

"Killian, I know that you're not doing business with your phone, so what exactly has you engrossed in your phone for this long?" Mason asked as I ignored him and continued with my little research, Mason tsk'd and shook his head as he turned back to the soccer game he was watching.

I had seen some baby items that were recommended for starters and I quickly started adding them to my list.

My guards and I would be going on a baby shopping for the first time. I couldn't wait to see Paisley's reaction but I was scared that she was going to reject my gifts.
