Chapter Nine

Once we got home the police were waiting for us while Gillian had our daughter in his arms and Corey glaring at him

"Ah love there you are," Gillian said as we jumped out of the car I could see Matteo send someone a text

"Gillian put down my daughter," I said

"Our daughter you took from me!" He yelled

"Miss, we need you to come to the station with us. You took this child without him knowing it's called kidnapping," the officer said

"It's called protecting her daughter!" Corey said

"He abused her in front of their daughter. She came here to seek safety away from him," Matteo said

"I never abused her in my life," Gillian said

Many cars stopped near us and Gillian started looking afraid as my brother and father got out with Nick and his sons as well as a few guards

"Miss what they said is it true?" The female cop asked

I was still looking at my daughter who was sleeping with her head on his shoulder

"Baby come on we can be a family again forget about the past we can start a new life away
