Chapter Eight

I got in early today and saw Lorain flirting with Dom

"Hey," He said and throw his arm around me

"Hey," I said

"I was kind of thinking last night about all the stupid stuff we did when we were 7," he said

"Oh, you mean our pranks or the always playing in the mud?" I asked

"Both. I didn't even know it was you when we meet. You were my best friend and I didn't even recognize you," he said as we got in the elevator

"Neither did I. We were both so young and we have changed a lot so I don't blame you for not recognizing me. I mean the last time we saw each other was when we said goodbye at the age of 9" I said

"And years later you've grown more beautiful and have a daughter," he said

"And you still dress like a complete dork," I said and he gasped

"You're mean," he said and I smiled before saying, "Can't help telling the truth,"

We got out of the elevator and walked into Matteo's office

"Hey Luna," Matteo said

"Arora, I haven't used that name in more than 12 years," I said and he smiled

"S
