I feel like I can peacefully close my eyes in death

I opened my eyes gently and I saw Raymond leaning on the door , kheera and David sat opposite each other fast asleep with my bed in the middle .

Each of them holding onto each of my hands .

I feel so loved and it made my eyes teary .

I placed my hand gently on their two heads like a mother hen trying to protect her children .

" Tracy ?" Raymond called surprised and the two of them that were fast asleep jolted up awake .

I feel so sorry troubling them like this and making them care too much for me.

" The ....the wedding .... I'm sorry ...I ....ruined the wedding ...".

My throat hurts and It felels like I haven't talked for years .

" Forget the wedding ...how are you feeling ?" David asked worry written all over his face.

" How... long have I been asleep?" I asked my voice a little bit clearer although it still hurts .

" Five days " kheera replied and I muttered an " oh " .

Now I now why it feels as if I haven't opened my mouth in years.
