I am sorry!

When Arabella notices her by the door, she turns her face in the other direction. She was still sad, and with no other choice, Zoe walked to her bedside...

"Rabella?" She called out but didn't receive any response from her...

"I know you are mad at me and I am sorry..." She said apologetically and still, Arabella didn't say a word and just kept on gazing in the other direction...

" Please, forgive me" she continued, not being able to take her silence, it was killing her slowly...

" you hurt me, Zoe," Arabella tells her in a teary tone...

" I didn't mean to...it was an accident" Zoe explains...

"You know I can never hurt you intentionally...you know it Rabella '' she continued...

"but you did...why?" Tears roll down her cheeks as she stares at her friend with so much pain...

" I didn't mean to...and I am sorry" Zoe didn't know what else to say sorry with teary eyes...

" promise you will never do it again, ever?" Arabella said and Zoe nodded her head in response...she pulled her in a hug, but it didn't take long as they separated with smiling faces...

" Why didn't you look for me yesterday?" Arabella questions, since the incident happened the previous day she has been waiting for Zoe to show up but she didn't and that was one of the reasons she was so sad...

" I thought you decided not to be my friend again" she complained looking sad...

" Papa told me to come today...he said you need time alone and that if I had come to you yesterday, you wouldn't have forgiven me...and I was scared, I didn't want you to be angrier than you already were" Zoe explains...

"But you know I would have still forgiven you anyway...you are my best friend and I will always forgive you no matter what," Arabella said and Zoe smiles wide, feeling happy she is finally ok with her best friend...

" Thank you, Rabella and I promise not to hurt you again..." Zoe promises as they both giggle happily... Arabella raises her left hand, showing her wounded elbow to her...

"Does it hurt?" little Zoe questioned with so much concern in her voice...

" a little...but I think I will be fine" Arabella assured but Zoe wasn't sure of her response...she walks to the cupboard and picks up the first aid kit...

" what are you doing?" Arabella questions confused...

" Treating your injured elbow," Zoe said, holding on to her elbow while examining the little cut...

"But I am good and it doesn't hurt that much...see it's a little cut" Arabella explains, trying to stop her but she just continues staring at her cut as if she was a professional doctor...

" It doesn't matter how small it is, those tiny little creatures can find a way to infect it..." Zoe explains like someone who has learned something related to it...

" But I can't see any," Arabella tells her while staring at her cut, trying to see those little creatures...

" That's because we can't see them with our naked eyes...papa said they can only be seen under a microscope" Zoe explains and a frown settles on Arabella's forehead...

" What is that?" She questions wanting to know more...

" Umm...papa said it is a lens that can be used to see tiny creatures" Zoe was doubting her response...

" wow...have you ever seen it before?" Arabella questions and she nods her head in denial...She picks on the cotton and applies some alcohol to it before wiping it on her wound which causes Arabella to cry out in pain...

" it hurts" she complains with a painful expression on her face...

" Sorry... won't put it anymore" Zoe assures as she throws away the soaked cotton before removing a medicated plaster and covers on her wound...

" done" Zoe exclaims with a satisfied smile on her face...

" wow, you are so amazing...how did you learn how to do this?" Arabella asked and Zoe happily told her...

" I always watch mama treating my cuts every time I accidentally injure myself" she explains feeling proud of herself and Arabella just smiles at her.

" I have something to tell you but I want you to guess what it is first..." Arabella said and a blush creeps on her cheeks remembering what happened the previous day, Zoe who had never been good at guessing frowned in displeasure...

" You know I am not good at..." She didn't get to finish her words as Arabella completes her words...

" guessing...I know, that's the reason why I want you to guess first or I won't tell you" she explains pouting her lips and Zoe could only comply with no other option left...

"fine...you finally got the puppy you have always asked Aunt for" She guesses and Arabella shakes her head in denial...

"Ummm...you did something nice with Rowan?" She questions this time rather than guessing and little Arabella giggles...

" Try harder...you are this close," she said, showing her how close she is with her tiny fingers. This only made Zoe frown hard, trying to think but it was way more than her...

" Tell me please, my head hurts" she begs and little Arabella stares at her for some time before giving in...

"I will tell you only because you have worked hard for it" she warns and a smile appears on little Zoe's lips as she waits for her to start talking...

" Yesterday, I..."Arabella started but couldn't continue, she was way happier to talk...her face was crimson red as she gazed at nothing...

" Common, tell me would you?" Zoe's urge to feel tired of the suspense...

" I had my first kiss..." Excitedly tells her and Zoe's one anticipating face turns to a sad and confused one...

" with Rowan?" She asked and little Arabella nodded her head. Zoe didn't know what to feel and for some odd reason, she felt sad knowing that her friend had her first kiss with someone that was not her... It was quite weird for her to be sad but she couldn't help it... Arabella was way excited to notice the change in her...

" That's nice...I am happy for you" Zoe didn't want her to sense a change in her so she congratulated…
