Chapter 4

Chapter four

After a lot of drinks and dancing with the girls I finally wake up and I am actually on my bed this time. The last time I had too much to drink, I slept off on the staircase- don't ask me how comfortable I was, I wasn't. I grab my head, wincing in pain with the amount of pounding that is going on in my head. I sat up and looked around, looking to my left I saw a cup of water and an advil.

I grabbed the water and the drug and downed it in one goal. I grabbed my phone and saw a text from Ivan

"I'll come pick you up later. Our flight is by five pm."

I put off my phone and threw myself on my bed, groaning into my pillow before sleeping off.

I woke up about an hour later and then Markell my way into my bathroom to brush my teeth and then do my skin care. I wore one of Ivan's t shirt I had with me and then made my way downstairs. Just as I predicted the cook already left my plate of food on the counter. I put the meal inside the microwave, while waiting for it to heat up I poured myself a cup of water.

I sipped from my glass of water, my eyes on the timer of the microwave. I finished one glass and then poured another glass of water again. I heard a ding sound from the micro wave indicating that my food is ready.

I was sitting on the kitchen island when my dad enters into the dining room.

"Princess." He gave me a small smile, taking his eyes off his phone as he put it inside his suit pocket.

"Hi dad." I gave him a small smile and then continued to eat my food.

"Dante told me about you going to Greece."

I completely forgot to tell him. Fuck. But in my defense, I just found out yesterday evening and I'm just seeing him.

"Yeah about that, I forgot to tell you about it. But you know now, can I go?" I grinned hoping he does not disapprove.

He frowned in disapproval, making his way towards the kitchen counter, "you need to tell me things about you, about where you are. I am your father. You can't just run off with some boy.

"Father, Ivan is not just some boy." I chuckled nervously, avoiding eye contact.

"I don't trust him."

"He's practically our family friend! You have an alliance with his family!"

"I don't trust him....with you." He gave me a pointed look.

Okay, he knows.

"I'll be fine dad. We'll be fine."

He exhaled loudly, "just keep your location on at all times."

"I will." I promised.

He stood up from the stool and then walked out of the house but not before giving me a kiss on the forehead.

I sent a quick text to Ivan.

"When are we leaving?"

"I'll come pick you up by 5pm."

"Okay."

"Your boyfriend is here." Gabriel said as he waltzes into my room and then throwing himself on my bed.

I rolled my eyes, "he is not my boyfriend." I stood up from the bed, pushing him away from me.

"Whatever."

I grabbed my box and slung my pink duffel bag across my shoulder.

"All these for three days?" Gabriel asked as he sat up on my bed, his voice incredulous.

I glared at him, "yes, do you have a problem with that?"

He glanced up, and seeing the look on my face he decided to not say anything, "no ma'm." He raised his hands up in surrender.

"Good." I grinned and then threw the duffel bag against his chest in which he caught before it hit his face. "Now let's go, chop chop." I clapped my hand for emphasis and then dragged my box as we made our way downstairs.

I found my dad and Ivan talking but both stopped when they noticed me.

"Hey princess."

"Hey dad." He pulled me into a hug and I breathed in his familiar scent before pulling back.

"Hi." I directed to Ivan and he replied before he grabbed the box of my hand.

"I promise to bring her back safely." He said to my dad.

"You better." My dad replied in a clipped tone and I squeezed his hand in a warning, sort of.

"Dad." I drawled out, turning to face him after Ivan left. "Be nice."

"I am nice." He insisted.

"No you're not." I chuckled nervously.

"Just tell him that if he hurts you, he will be answering to me and he knows what that means." He placed a kiss on my forehead and walked me out of the door.

"I won't tell him that." I muttered low enough for only him to hear. "Bye dad." I gave him a hug and entered into the car, Ivan closing the door behind me.

"I do not think your dad likes me all that much." He muttered under his breath as he buckled his seat belt in.

"Yh, he knows."

I didn't need to explain what I meant by that. He understood immediately.

Ivan looked at me, eyes wide, "oh shit."

His phone rang from the console, I glanced at the screen and saw it was his dad. He picked up his phone and then switched it off. I gave him a questioning look.

"I'll just call him later." He shrugged.

"Okay." I locked in my seat belt.

"Ready?"

I nodded.
