CHOOSING

SALVADOR’S POV

I hadn’t realised that I had passed out. My eyes fluttered open and I looked around where I was. Beside me was a chained Danny who seemed to be in pain. I looked at my own hands to find that I too was chained to the wall.

In front of me with the most annoying smile was Red. She looked as calm as a child about to get a candy from his parent. I hated it.

“Oh you’re awake” she chirped with that sickly smile of hers.

I yanked at the chain and barred my teeth at her, a growl rumbling in my chest. She was startled for a second even placing a hand on her chest.

“Ooh feisty, just the way I like it.” She purred almost making me gag. She pointed at me, and spoke to one of the guards standing with her. “Cut him loose.”

He obeyed and did was he was told. I stayed calm as he did even though I was tempted to snap his neck and hers. I wanted to make sure that both Danny and I were lose first before doing anything but she didn’t ask for him to be cut loose.
