CHAPTER SIX

"Dennis, who is he ?" Leo asked standing beside me, why is Leo pretending not to know Nick…like Nick Carter

" Hi am Nick Carter though it's weird you don't know me" Nick responded like he could read my thoughts

" Oh, I didn't recognize you at first, " Leo claimed, holding me by the waist. Nick stares at Leo's hand position with a weird expression on his face, I know right …your mate already chose a mate isn't that weird?

" Dennis let's return to the party" Leo added glancing at me with a wide smile

" Sure, Nick" Isn't he going to say anything concerning Leo taking me away before he could say complete the conversation

"What? You are free to go he is your mate after" he exaggerated…what a lousy mate he doesn't even care, I thought he would at least stop us 

"Bye," I said through gritted teeth as Leo pulled me away …I still turned back occasionally to look at Nick who waves back anytime our eyes, how's that butt-ass, my mate?

" Where were you?"  Sunny asked me more like asked Leo so I didn't bother replying

"Dennis why are you doing this, I thought you would pick me as your alpha so I can make you my Luna and we could rule side by side" Leo started ranting Making me scoff internally

" Leo maybe I need more time"

"More time for what?!" Leo exclaimed trying his best to hold in his annoyance at what I just said 

"Leo just let me be or should I work away again," I asked looking around if I could get a glimpse of Nick

Few minutes after my secret search for Nick…Nick gets on stage with a mic

"Does he have a mate now?" Sunny asked, he looks more handsome up there as he smiles at the crowd

"I don't think he has found any because she won't be able to cope …he is a part sponsor of the program," Madam Janet said taking a sip from her wine

" I hate him," Leo said staring at me with disgust, what's wrong with him

"I like him anyways, he has a cool Aura," Sunny said not noticing Leo's stares

   Nick gives his speech but stops when he finds me in the crowd he stared at me with a smirk on his face 

"What's wrong with him, Dennis, is he staring at you?"  Sunny asked but I wasn't in my right mind to say anything to her

"Dennis…can you see me after the ceremony," Nick said from the stage making everyone stare at me  awkwardly Leo more pissed 

" Dennis am waiting for your response" Nick added staring at me from the stage trying his best not to laugh is he haunting me because I rejected him

" Okay" I yelled from the crowd making everyone whisper amongst themselves

    The party was already over but Leo still didn't want to let go as we talked to some of his long-time friends…I find Nick in the crowd and he motioned to me with his wristwatch that I was already taking too long but gets distracted by Sunny who introduces herself to Nick, Leo should just see this, his love is unsatisfied …what!! Nick excused himself from sunny and is now walking towards us

" Leo let go of me I need to see someone" I whispered to Leo

" Who…Nick are you affected by what he said on the stage" Leo asked making his grip on my hands tighter

" Dennis, I have been waiting for you but you weren't showing, up," Nick asked like he didn't notice Leo

" Can't you see she's on a date and we are busy?" Leo said 

"We aren't busy…Leo, I told you to let go of me but you refused. Is that being busy?!" I said pulling my hands away from his forcefully making Nick smile at my courage

" Shall we " Nick proposed making way for me through the crowd 

" Are you marrying that di*k face?" Nick asked when we were already close to his car

" No" I responded

" It seemed so, he is so possessive..why would you choose him as your mate?" What's up with Nick and his questions is he being jealous even though we just met

" Did I Know I would ever find my mate and of all people it's from Carter's pack?" I said sarcastically he chuckled opening his car door for me to step in 

" Where are you taking me to, I thought we just needed to talk am still not accepting you too," I said stepping in

" Why are you so against me?" He asked

" Because I don't want any distraction and you might ruin what I had already prepared for my future" I replete nod and gets into the driver's seat 

" Let me take you to my favorite place," he said starting the engine

" Why are you trying so hard to impress me ?" I joked noticing he loves speeding and that's risky

" Am not trying so hard to impress you I just want to have fun and I normally do that alone but now that you exist I can do it with you"  he said stopping the car what!!....he drove his car to this place

When we could have just walked here, what a lazy mate

" Where are we?" I asked still not familiar with the environment

" I told you it was a special place, so just come with me is that too hard," he said smiling 

The garden was beautiful like it was prepared specially for his arrival

" Did you do this?" I asked staring at the flowers

"I decorated everything myself I find pleasure in gardening" he replied why does he seem so nice and gentle towards me when I heard that he is very brutal and malicious what's all this then about

" Sit, actually I called you over because I want to discuss something with you," he said offering me a sit.

" You do know Leo is waiting for me in the ceremony," I said taking my seat beside him

" Are you planning on marrying Leo and making him your alpha?"
