I didn't sleep at all after he left. I was confused as to why he didn't want to reject me before he left last night. He told me that I'm going to his pack today.

As soon as he let go of me, I rubbed my hand, still feeling the pain where he held it tightly. "Pack your clothes and be ready at six tomorrow morning; if you're not ready, I will drag you out of here," he growled, walking to the door without looking at me.

"What do you mean, pack?" I was confused.

"You're going home with me," was all he said before walking out.

I dropped to the ground and let the tears run freely. "He hates us," I told my wolf.

"He doesn't hate us; if he did, he would have rejected us already," she purred.

"Yeah, but you heard him only doing this to make the moon goddess regret making me his mate."

"Don't think about it too much; let's see what happens once we are there," my wolf says.
