"Dad's left?" I ask Jenna who's busying herself with a can of soda and the Television in the living room. She looks up from the TV and looks up at me with a sweet smile on her face.

"Yeah." she says and stands up to give me a hug. She sits back down and folds her leg up on our most expensive couch. The one only my dad is permitted to sit on. Seeing her all comfy on it gave it away that the old man's left.

I take the soda from her and have a little sip of it before handing it back to her. I glance at the TV and groan. I hate reality TV. Why sit back and watch other people live their lives on camera.

Without wasting any time, I stride up the stairs and head straight to my room.

I gently turn the doorknob and walk into my already unlocked room. I toss my bag to my bed and jump on to my bed. Spreading my arms on the bed, I start to wave them like I'm making snow angels. "Home sweet home."

My bedroom is my home. It's the only place that belongs to me and it's the only place I can get comfy. I stand to my feet and start to get out of my clothes.

I walk to the closet and grab a pair of new clothes. A black T-shirt and grey short pants. I tie a towel around my waist and toss my old clothes into the laundry basket.

Just as I'm about to walk into the bathroom,My phone starts to beep from inside my school bag. I groan and turn on my heels to grab my phone. A small smile creeps on my face at the caller id, it's Lewis.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the dude who wouldn't give you a phone call unless you called him first." Lewis says with a chuckle.

I sit on the edge of the bed and absentmindedly start to play with a loose thread on the hem of my towel. "Well hello to you too." I tell him and he sighs dramatically.

"Dude you still haven't changed from being all nerdy, huh?" he says and I roll my eyes at him.

"What? You didn't say hello first. What did you expect me to say?" I raise one brow and clear my throat and make my voice go deeper, "Yo my man, what's chilling?"

He bursts into deep laughter and I can't help but laugh along. After a while of laughing, I ask him, "So why'd you call? Did you already get a girl pregnant?"

He let's out a disbelieving gasp and says in a pretend hurt voice, "How could you say that Troy. Of course I haven't gotten a girl pregnant." he says and pauses before adding, "Yet."

I roll my eyes and shake my head. He chuckles a bit before continuing to talk, "Rachel told me about your house being burgled."

I scoff,"That blabber-head. Can't she shut up for once?"

He laughs into my ear, "We both know she  can't. Anyways, is everything okay over there?"

"Yeah everything's fine." I tell him with a sigh. "Okay, can I go now? I was actually about to hit the showers before you called."

"Jeez, I don't know why I keep calling you. You're so rude. Fuck off bro." he groans.

"But..." I start to say but trail off at the sound of the dial tone. I shake my head and chuckle a little before putting my phone back on my bed. I look at the little dent on it and shake my head. Better get that fixed.

All of a sudden, I remember the weird girl's diary. I pull it out of my bag and study it carefully. I have to get it back to her as soon as possible. A diary is private property after all and I can't keep it with me.

I look behind it and a smile glows on my face and when at the back of the too girly diary, a phone number is scribbled on it. Quickly, I bring my phone up and start to dial.

It beeps three times before it's finally answered.

"Lucy Miller's phone." The voice over the phone calls and I gasp unknowingly, that voice! I'd remember it any day.....

Janice's POV

Lucy and I don't even bother to go into the club before I dial Eric to let him know we are here. I don't have the stupid time to get lost trying to find what table it is they are seated. Even though we once suggested a permanent table, it's never possible as it always gets occupied before we get there. It is a club after all, what can we expect?

"Hey Bitch, where are you?" Eric calls into my ear and I turn to look at Lucy who's already nervous as hell as to what Eric would do to us for being caught. I roll my eyes at her before answering Eric.

"We are outside the club. Send Fred to come get us. We don't have the time to get lost like yesterday." I tell him and he doesn't say anything at first.

"Hey go get the girls, they're outside the club." he directs to somebody in the background, most likely Fred. "Okay just wait where you are. He's coming." he says and instantly hangs up.

"I'm so scared Janice." Lucy says in a low, shaky voice and she puts her hands behind her. I grab a hold of her hands and say in a voice I can manage as sweet.

"Snap out of it woman. We've been through this. I already told you, Eric won't do a shot to you. Worst thing he'd do? He's going to flip shit and shout but that's just it. Don't you trust me?" I ask her but she doesn't say anything.

I sigh and let go of her hands and fold my hands across my chest. "Alright ask Fred when he comes."

"Hey girls." Bill calls to us and we both turn to look at him.
