34. Pandemonium

"No," I murmur in disbelief. Dad and David both look at me, their eyes heavy with concern as if I am the one bound and gagged in front of them. Their bodies are bloodied and scratched, and God only knows what they must have gone through in Black Dawn's hands. I spot the men behind Dad and David, there are about five of them, all wearing identical expressions of danger.
