I'll Return Everything Later

Jayden has yet to find a way out. The robbers took his cell phone, he could not contact anyone. Jayden had seen Ivanka using a cellphone, but even if he borrowed a cellphone, he would have difficulty contacting his manager and friends, because none of the numbers he memorized.

Day after day passed, there wasn't much he could do at the moment except take care of his health. The bruises slowly got better, only other parts of his body still hurt, especially his waist. Lying down is the only antidote.

At first, Jayden found it very difficult to live here even temporarily, starting from the food and way of life which was very different from in his home country. Ivanka herself is only a widow who has a daughter. So, in a way, if the woman who accommodates him is not rich.

Jayden's current condition is even poorer than Ivanka. Her money, ATM card and credit cards had been taken by the robbers, as well as her cell phone.

"Are you okay now?" Ivanka asked when they had dinner then.

At seven in the evening, Ivanka usually has dinner ready. At this time, Jayden was having dinner with Ivanka and her eleven-year-old daughter, Nara.

"I'm better off. It's just recovery." Jayden nodded.

"Then when are you coming home Uncle?" Asked Nora with an innocent face.

ugh! Uhuukkk! Jayden choked on the chunks of teriyaki chicken he was chewing.

"Hushh, Nara! Uncle Jayden hasn't fully recovered yet! If he's recovered, he'll come home later. Uncle Jayden will also miss his family." Ivanka gave a reason that was easy for Nara to understand.

"I just feel sorry for you. Mother's burden has increased." The girl who was almost a teenager pouted.

Ivanka was dumbfounded at Nara's words, while Jayden's face changed color from pale to red.

"Ehmm, I'm sorry... I'm bothering you and your mother. If i cured and finds robbers who took my bag, later, i will surely replace everything that your mother spent to take care of Uncle." Jayden tried to calm Nara who looked a bit annoyed.

"Enough! Don't talk about that stuff just yet.The important thing is, you just heal first. Nara, don't bring up financial matters like that. It's none of your business, you just focus on studying, ok!" Ivanka tried to intervene.

She really knows her family's condition. She already understands how important money is to make a living. Nara witnessed for herself how her mother had to work hard here and there to support them.

Jayden also didn't feel offended that Nara said that. Just by looking at the condition of their house, Jayden knew that they too were having a hard time.

That's why, as soon as possible, Jayden must find the bag containing the documents and his wallet.

Because only then, would he be able to reimburse all of Ivanka's expenses for him while he was sick.

"Let's continue eating. Is the food not good?" Ivanka asked because Jayden was staring at the food on his plate instead.

"None of my mother's homemade food has ever failed! If you doesn't like it, that's too much." Nora glared.

"Nara's right, really! Your food is very delicious. Especially the chicken stew and spicy fried tofu." Jayden snapped out of his daydream.

Ivanka smiled, then turned to Nara and gave a warning through her eyes. Nora lowered her head and returned to continue eating.

"Nara, after playing the game, you sleep quickly." Ivanka reminded her daughter who was busy playing a game.

"Tomorrow is a day off, Mom!" Nara pouted.

"Holidays don't mean you can stay up late. Little kids don't sleep too late." Ivanka immediately emphasized the rules again.

"Humph! All right! Ten more minutes, huh!" Nora nodded.

Ivanka continued on the sidelines, packing the cakes she was going to sell at the flea market tomorrow.

Near the house, there is always a surprised market every Sunday. Even on holidays, Ivanka uses it to make money.

Sometimes Jayden felt bad. He rests comfortably at home, while Ivanka works hard for money.

"My God, even though herself is having a hard time. Her face already looks tired, but she always smile." Jayden turned his head from the television screen he was watching, to Ivanka who was busy at the dinner table.

Jayden got up from his seat and sat down at the dining table.

"Let me help!" Jayden said after watching for a while.

"You don't have to. You're still sick. You'd better get some sleep too, so you can recover quickly." Ivanka politely refused.

"It's okay. I'm fine! Besides, I have to start moving again so my muscles don't get stiff." Jayden put on his gloves, took a cup cake and put it in the plastic wrap.

"Thank you." Ivanka smiled.

This was the first time Jayden had watched Ivanka's face up close. This woman has olive skin, typical of Southeast Asia, with a small, sharp nose. Her lips were thin like the petals of a blooming rose, while her eyes were round and large, adorned with naturally curled eyelashes.

Overall, Ivanka looks sweet and adorable in Jayden's eyes. Her profile didn't even look like a thirty year old woman and already had a child.

"Where do you want to sell it?" Jayden asked after packing up a pile of cookies and arranging them in transparent faces.

"I'm selling it at the shock market tomorrow every Sunday, I sell there because there is a stand for my wares.

"Who are you trading with?"

"With Nara. I went with Nara first, after that, I brought my merchandise there." Ivanka answered while setting up her pastries.

"Tomorrow I'll join you! I want to help you sell." Jayden said suddenly.

Ivanka was shocked and widened her eyes.

"Why are you so surprised?"

"You really want to come trade with me?" Ivanka still couldn't believe it.

Why not? I have something to work on while recovering my health, I also can't just sit idly by while you keep working to make money." Jayden answered Ivanka's question.

"Ehhm, you don't have to take what Nara said so seriously. I understand, you are in trouble and trouble. Even your body hasn't fully recovered yet."

"I am alright. tomorrow I will come with you. Where else to pack?" Jayden checked the cake box and counted the amount.

"That's all, really! Thank you for wanting to help, okay?" Ivanka smiled with relief.

"Tomorrow wake me up! Don't be late and don't leave me at home alone!" Jayden reminded.

"I'll wake you up." Ivanka nodded.

"All right! I'm going to sleep now. You also go to sleep quickly. Your eyes already look tired." Jayden also reminded Ivanka.

Ivanka nodded. After putting the cake box into the cupboard. Ivanka then went into her room.

Jayden lay down on the red heart folding bed. After remembering, almost two weeks he was at Ivanka's house. Seeing Ivanka working hard, Jayden thought he should do something that could lighten the burden on the hosts. He has been temporarily housed, eats and sleeps for free.

"I'll return them all later. I promise." Jayden said to himself.
