Chapter 19

Mark Lao\'s \"Blue Squeeze\" was originally set to begin shooting at the end of November, but now it\'s all in January, and the crew hadn\'t started working yet.

These days, David\'s eyes have recovered a little, and he could basically see the outline of things.

He looked at Mark Lao, who had obviously lost some weight.\"You\'ve rented all the venues. You haven\'t done anything these days. You\'re just burning money. I\'m almost ready. Let\'s get into the group earlier.\"

\"Don\'t worry. We’ll wait for you to get better.\" Mark Lao peeled an apple for David and said, \"Don\'t worry about the money. Besides, it\'s not in vain. I rented the venue. Although I lost a little, it\'s not much. When the movie is on, you\'ll make it back for us with the box office.\"

Mark Lao kept making it all seem easy, but David knew from the script of “Blue Squeeze” that it was unlikely to make money. It was a depressing art film. Besides, it didn’t have a strong cast.
