Chapter 67: We can go together

Kemi's POV*

I have to make food for Mrs. Patricia since it's almost time for her dinner. I open the fridge to get some groceries but there's nothing much left.

"There are no more groceries." I hear a voice say behind me and I turn around to see the girl I assisted the other day, Sofia, standing close to the kitchen's entrance.

She smiles at me as she walks into the kitchen.

"Hello there again." She waves at me.

I smile at her before closing the fridge. "I didn't know there's no groceries again. When would it be restocked?" I ask her.

"You should go to the grocery stores to get them. You can just get for the entire house as well." She stretches out a paper to me.

Wait, what? The entire house?

Why do I feel like this girl is giving me all her duties? The last time, she asked me to do the bed sheets and now she's asking me to get groceries for the entire house.

"For the entire house?" I ask her again with wide eyes.

She nods, "Yes, since you are going to the grocery stores." She shrugs.
