Meeting the mysterious

EPISODE FOUR

They all stared into her face as she lay unconsciously on top of couch. 

Angela gradually opened her eyes. 

"Where am I?" She asked as she sat up. 

"Honey how are you feeling?" Mrs Houston asked as she hugged her tightly. 

"You fainted a while ago" Dan snapped. 

Angela breathed heavily as she stared the wall again but she didn't see the picture again. 

"Momma... That picture there? Where is it?" Angela asked pointing at the wall. 

"Picture? What picture?" Sonia asked confused. 

"What are you talking about Angela?" Joel asked anxiously. 

"I saw the picture there... How did it disappear?" Angela asked in confusion. 

"Oh baby..... You are already late for school" Mr Houston said as they helped Angela up. 

But Angela didn't stop starring at the wall. 

"How come there is no picture there? But I saw a picture there... The little girl winked at me" Angela thought inwardly. 

They walked out of house to the garage. 

Angela was still disturbed and lost in thought. 

"Why is there a little girl in the house?"

"How come nobody knows or sees her except me?"

She kept thinking as their dad drove them in the car. 

"Oh my gosh! Sister am I the only one so anxious to see the new school" Sonia laughed but Angela was absent minded. 

"Angela! Angela!!" Joel called as Angela shivered in fear. 

She was startled cos she wasn't even concentrating. 

"What the hell is your problem lately Angela?" Dan asked as she shook her head. 

"Nothing... I just want to be alone" Angela stuttered. 

"You're being weird! Why did you even come to sleep in my room last night?" Sonia asked sharply. 

"Huh??" Angela gasped thinking of what to tell her. 

"Yes... Your room is so big and beautiful so why did you choose Sonia's crib of a room" Joel teased Sonia as she folded her arms giving him a deadly glare. 

"My room is not a crib... It's big as well" Sonia defended herself. 

"But is it as big as hers?" Dan fired 

"Oh please...Stop being jealous,,,, you guys are just too jealous because you couldn't get separate rooms" Sonia said as the boys sighed.

"Yeah right... That because I don't want a crib for a room" Joel said as Sonia groaned at him. 

"Angela you have the biggest room right?" Dan asked but he got no answer. 

Angela was only starring out of the window absentmindedly. 

"What the fvck is wrong with her?" Joel asked 

"I don't really know..." Sonia said 

"First she fainted,,, next she talked about a picture,,, an invisible picture" Dan said. 

"I really think something is just not right like something is fishy and we have to fish it...." Joel said but they were interrupted by their dad's deep voice. 

"Here we are kids... Go down" Mr Houston's voice rang as they jumped in delight. 

Except for Angela who as the introvert got down from the car gently. 

"Wow! This is so beautiful" They exclaimed in delight. 

Actually the school premises is really nice and conducive. 

St Martha high school as written on the school's peak.

One of the biggest schools all over the small city. 

Only well to do parents take their kids there. 

So you can say it's a school for the rich. 

They got down from the car and headed straight to the principal's office. 

They had some of the protocols taken care of before they could be shown into their new classes.

Angela walked into her new class quietly with her school bag hanged on her back. 

Such a big class! 

She had to introduce herself in front of the class. 

And as expected she didn't get a single friend from school on the first day. 

While Sonia got a dozen of new friends. 

And she even met Becca their neighbour in her class. 

She was overwhelmed with joy.... 

Sonia didn't know Becca attends the same school. 

Now she has finally gotten herself,, not just a friend but a best friend. 

AFTER SCHOOL.....

Angela and Sonia had went to Becca's house. 

And Sonia and Becca the two best friends left the house so Angela was left with the old granny. 

And as usual,,, Angela was wearing a gloomy face. 

She was super worried! 

She never wanted her parents to start seeing her as a weird person. 

She was still lost in thought and didn't notice when Nana entered. 

"Little one what's bothering you?" Nana's voice made her shivered. 

"Oh Nana! You startled me" She said as she forced a smile. 

"Am sorry child.... But what's bothering you?" She asked settling beside her. 

Angela gulped nervously. 

"Nana this is really weird and you might not believe me" She said with her head bowed. 

"Tell me my dear" Nana said. 

Angela exhaled deeply and cleared her throat noisily. 

"I think there is something about our new house" Angela began. 

"Something about your new house?" Nana asked concerned. 

"Yes Nana" Angela replied 

"Something like what?" Nana asked anxiously. 

"Something mysterious... Something is just not right in that house,,, I can feel and see it" Angela said worriedly.

"What did you see?" Nana asked as Angela looked around before talking. 

"I always see a little girl in my room but no-one does see her except me" Angela said as Nana smiled. 

The smile made her confused. 

Why isn't Nana confused like her parents used to be? 

"Have you told your parents?" Nana asked 

Angela nodded her head in agreement. 

"Yes but they don't believe me and they think am being delusional" Angela cried 

"Have you spoken to the little girl you see?" Nana asked anxiously 

"Not yet... Like we haven't really conversed" Angela said. 

"And where do you always see her?" Nana asked 

"In my room.. She even said its her room and that she's just sharing it with me" Angela said 

"Good... this is what you're going to do! Go to your room and call her,,, tell her to come out and face you" Nana said as Angela flinched in fear. 

"Oh no Nana! Am very scared" Angela cried out. 

"You don't have to be... Don't you want to unravel the mystery behind her existence?" Nana asked. 

"I want to" Angela replied. 

"Then summon courage child and do as I said" Nana said as Angela nodded. 

Angela kept pondering on what Nana told her.

Angela walked into her room bravely after so many days of sleeping at Sonia's. 

To her utmost surprise,, the room was so tidied. 

She didn't do that! 

"Have I forgotten? Am not the only one in this room" She thought inwardly. 

She summoned courage. 

"Hey... You little girl,,,,, if you are not a coward! Show yourself to me and talk with me... Where are you? I want to see you! I have lots of questions for you" Angela shouted. 

She waited for about ten minutes yet she got no response. 

She bowed her head in disappointment.

"This isn't going to work anyway" She said as she turned her back to leave. 

"AM HERE" A voice echoed behind her. 

Cold shivers ran down her spine.....
