Check out my book Hell Of A Marriage if you want to know what happened to Keenan.“You leave home to seek your fortune and, when you get it, you go home and share it with your family.”~Anita Baker"We know that though she's gone, her memory still lives on and we are assured that she's now resting in the bosom of the Lord." the priest officiating the funeral session says, after reading out the Bible and everyone replies."Amen," in unison."Ashes to ashes, dust to dust," he concluded and made a crucifix sign on the casketRory steps forward and drops the flower in his hand into the already lowered casket and then steps back, his eyes swimming in unshed tears. Taylor takes his hand into hers and gives it a reassuring squeeze, this is indeed a trying time for him and he needed support more than ever.Their honeymoon trip was cut short after they got a call that his mother, Melinda Gate, fell from the stairs of her home and died and they had to cancel the rest of three weeks they had ahea
"And that, of course, is the message of Christmas. We are never alone. Not when the night is darkest, the wind coldest, the world seemingly most indifferent…” ~Taylor Caldwell"Remember there is always enough love to go around, especially today," I say smiling at the little kids looking at me, their smile widens and it warms my heart.I had discussed my Christmas plans for this year with Rory a week ago and I told him how I wanted to change the tradition of only celebrating with family which was just the three of us. I wanted something different, something new something that was more than just us. Rory then asked what I had in mind and I told him about reaching out to at least three orphanages this year and he was more than happy to support me all the way throughFlashback to a week agoThe snow falling on the trees as I star

"Holding people away from you, and denying yourself love, that doesn't make you strong. If anything, it makes you weaker. Because you're doing it out of fear."— Sarah DessenTaylor's POV"Thank you very much, ma'am." I smile happily at the woman in her sixties, as she hands me the key to my hotel room. What are you doing in a hotel when you have a house? you might ask,Well, I'll explain much later. The woman smiles back before she points the way. "Go through the left hall the sixth room is room 69 enjoy your stay young miss.""I will do just that," I reply, putting on my most classy smile ever. I grab my expensive-looking handbag and swing it over my shoulder before walking on.Back to the earlier question, I'm here because the three Js strictly told me to come here and after much debate, I am here. Where am I? I am in the Five-Star hotel su
“Wake up, sleepyhead!” Jack’s deep voice barges into my room and his annoying self. “Go away!” I groan, burying my head deeper into the pillow, desperately wanting to get at least a minute more of sleep. Three weeks ago, I broke my alarm mistakenly and since then Jack has taken it upon himself to be my new annoying alarm. I wish I could break him too! “No way, get up. Do you want to get fired from your work for going late?” He snaps, clapping his hands. He’s right. My job is keeping this family together. You can say that since my trip to the Five-Star hotel three months ago, things haven’t been the same for both me or my family. When I got back home that day, the three Js looked surprised to see me come home that early, though none said anything to me. They did the next day though, throwing many questions like... “How did it go?” “You looked worn last night. What happened?” “Why did you co
It can’t be. I try to tell myself because Rory and this man had so many differences. Rory didn’t look rich, feel rich, or even smell rich, but then this man standing was everything but the exact opposite of that. But there is also no doubt in my mind that the man I met three months ago is the man standing in the room at this moment. They do have the same brown hair with the mixture of gold, and those green eyes I haven’t been able to forget since the night he saved me from Luke, those same eyes I’ve seen in dreams that kept enticing me, luring me in and looking into mine with the look of desire. You can say I’ve fallen in love with my hero. A part of me feels happy that finally after months I get to see him again. I mean, I know our last encounter was not the best, but I still hope though. Another part of me feels unsure. I am not the girl he met in the hotel; I am not rich, poised or wealthy and neither is he poor.
"How long are you going to take to finish up and get out of the bathroom? We barely have two hours!" I yell, smacking my hand on the door. I'm in my towel, wanting to take a bath and get dressed for the meet and greet party taking place in the next two hours, and Jack has grown old in the bathroom. The door finally cracks open after the fourth minute of being locked and the all annoying Jack walks out. The wide grin that plasters itself on his face makes me want to rip out my hair out. "Calm your nerves, sis. You said it yourself. It's a meet-and-greet party." He put his big, wet arms around my shoulder. "That means we have to be at our best. Who knows, I might get the blow job I've been longing for." His grin widens at the thought. My intestine curls up in disgust. "Sometimes I prefer you when your mouth is closed." I throw his hand away from my shoulder and open the door. He shrugs, "Just being honest, Sis." "If her dad ends up hangi
"If he can't handle you at your worst then he does not deserve you at your best. Real love means seeing beyond the words spoken out of pain, and instead of seeing a person's soul."Shannon L. Alder~My night was horrible, and to top it off, I had a terrible nightmare that kept me up for hours and I only had a few hours of sleep before my alarm woke me up. After being woken by Jack to get ready, I know the day isn't going to be the best, but that doesn't stop me from making sure that I am properly prepared for today."I didn't see you throughout the party 'twas like you vanished. What was the reason?"Jake and I arrange the table while Mom, Josh and Jack serve breakfast."I was just out meeting new people." He shrugs, "wasn't that the reason we came along anyway?"He is ri
