Chapter 8: Mixed Feelings

Lily, upon exiting the coffee shop, runs into someone causing her to spill her coffee and burn her hand in the process. She wanted to lash out at the person for spilling her coffee but she recognized the person to be Derrick, Derrick Mingles her childhood friend. Without thinking, Lily placed the coffee down on the table next to her and hugged him. The man was taken aback by the lady's sudden hug and was unable to react.
