Prologue

I am listening to his continued nagging. I rolled my eyes and lean on the sofa.

"How will I explain to Livv that you almost got killed!" Henry, my cousin said as he strokes his hair pacing back and forth. I chuckled at his hysteric nagging and looked at my bruises which I got from disobeying his command.

"It's a clear order, Roanna I just said don't leave my sight and behave but what did you do? You got distracted by just seeing a stray cat!" He added, probably not amaze on what's the reason why I nearly got killed by those men who chased me after they've seen my face.

"Hey! The cat is out of here! She's adorable and I want to adopt her." I dearly said as I stared at the cat who is now sleeping on the bed. He palmed his face after hearing me saying my ridiculous excuse.

"You better get ready, Livv is coming home any minute now you'd better explain yourself to him. God! My neck hurts." He said as he looked at his phone reading the message that Livv sent him after the incident that happened earlier.

"Don't worry, he'll understand," I said with much confidence as I grinned at him, he only looked at me with his annoyed face and left the room.

I smiled as I looked at the cat who is now sleeping in my bed. I gently laid down and stroke the cat's fur. A few minutes passed I heard the door swung open I slowly crawled into the side of the bed and sat there as I wait for him to come near me. 

"You disobeyed my order." He said as he slowly walked near the bed opening the buttons of his suit, one by one. I can't help but admire his looks. I almost choked just by looking at his annoyed face I can't help but stare at those perfectly carved brows, that deep blue-colored eyes, and his perfect nose that fits his thinned slightly red lips and, my eyes slowly wander through his well-toned body muscles at the perfect places I gulped as I stared at his tattoo showing in his hands up to his neck, suddenly I felt something inside me telling me it was all familiar.

"Eyes up here, Lady." I can sense his playful tone, I look at him, and there's that playful grin plastered on his lips saying that I shouldn't play or else I'll be punished. "I heard from Henry that you nearly endangered yourself just because of a cat." He added. I slowly nodded as he slowly parted my legs and he stands between them.

"Well, I got hurt a little bit saving the cat's life is worth it," I answered. He slowly nodded and cupped my chin using his two fingers and slowly he leaned to catch my gaze.

He stared at me as he grinned and slowly tap my forehead. "You never listen to me, Roana what will I do to make you listen and behave as I said so you nearly got killed and half of my men are injured just to secure your safety as I told them to. Please, baby, be careful next time." He said to me, I just slowly nod my head and hug him.

"I'm sorry, it will never happen again." I sincerely apologize to him. 

"Apology accepted," He answered and he kissed the top of my head. 

Livv and I met months before he rescued me from his rival who smuggled women and sell them to Elite Businessman Circle that bids at higher prices for women and other vices. I am thankful that he did save me, my father sold me like one of his assets, and he never cared who will I be sold to after he gets the money. Henry, my cousin, later on, found me I discovered that he is working for Livv he is also his best friend, I already told him what happened and he disgusts my father he said that he will tell Livv but I just said that it's better not to.

"You sure you're fine, love?" He asked me after he kissed the top of my head, he cups my face and made me look at him, he scanned my body to make sure that I am fine, I find his gestures cute and sweet and I can't help but admire him more.

"Yes, love I am fine. I had a few bruises and cuts but I am fine." I assured him. He sighed, his eyes then darted behind me and he chuckled shaking his head when he saw the cat lying at our bed, sleeping peacefully. 

"God, you're killing me, love." He murmured as he leaned to my neck and bit my skin slowly, I gasped as I cling my hand to his nape and crooked my neck to the side giving him more access. I closed my eyes as letting him kiss me more wanting for more, moans and groans filled the room as I shrugged off the thought of familiar sensations I feel, the way his hands roamed my body touching me in my sensitive parts, I close my eyes.

Damn, this must be heaven.
