Chapter 44
Shion and Kana walk hand in hand. They stopped at the main door and glance at each other.
"Ready?" asked, Shion.
"I am," Kana smiled.
Shion pushed the door and guided Kana, inside.
'It's still the same,' Kana thought.
"How is it, love?" Shion asked while observing him.
"It looks the same," Kana answered.
His eyes wander and his tears keep on falling.
"Even the warmth is the same," he said looking at his husband.
"Come, let's look around,"
They walk around the living room and the kitchen entrance came to view. His feet dragged him there. He choked on sobs.
The feeling is overwhelming. He can still smell the freshly baked cookies of his mommy. And the memory of them baking it together while having fun makes him more nostalgic.
"We used to bake cookies here. And while waiting for it, mommy would always tell me stories and dada will act the scenes," Kana reminisced.

Shion and Kanatha's honeymoon is going smoothly. They enjoyed the activities that they tried until it was time to leave. One of the memories that will be cherished was Kana's experience on the yacht. It's been a week since they start living there. Everything is normal now that the serpent was gone. Kana is relieved that he can now freely go out with his parents and his grandfather will never be lonely anymore. That serpent took more than a decade of their lives.
