Chapter 72: Jack's Jazz...Wrong Reason; Right One

“What is it with this family of mine Jazz?”

Jack stood looking at the empty kitchen. A quick search and a look at the surveillance cameras showed both Julie and Jason slipping away from the house in the night.

“Is there a note maybe?”

Just by looking it was clear they simply left. She went and sit beside the counter just looking at her husband. She watched the confusion on his face.

“What are you going to do now?”

“Would you mind making coffee for us?”

Jack stood looking around the kitchen. It feels rather homey. He should consider buying a place where he could start a fresh life with Jazz. He watched her being busy making coffee. He moved closer and suddenly wrapped his arms around her.

“I don’t know how you can still stay with me? I only seemed to have cause problems.”
