Grace was beautiful and poised. Noticing her worry for Shawn, Zain couldn't help but feel puzzled. "Young lady, what's your relationship with Shawn?"

Grace snapped out of her thoughts and realized that he had misunderstood. "We're friends. He helped me out."

Upon hearing this, Zain visibly deflated for a moment before composing himself. "Shawn's a good kid. He's responsible and committed. Maybe not as good-looking as before, but that doesn't matter. He's a good person."

Grace was confused. "Was he very good-looking before?"

"He was outstanding! Back when he was in college, girls who confessed to him would come to our house." Zain exaggerated.

Grace couldn't help but laugh at his words. This eased some tension in the atmosphere.

"Did he agree to any of them?"

"If he had, would he still be single?" Zain clicked his tongue, nudging Grace with his arm. "Seize the opportunity."
