I headed over to the bar again the next day. I hadn’t noticed it before as I had been looking for it, but I wondered if King had kept something in writing, something about this fucked up situation. I had called Sandy and told her to expect me, so when I entered the bar, she was waiting. “Before you disappear, I need to ask you a few things.” She looked concerned, “is everything ok?” she asked. I shook my head, “not really, but I’ll sort it.”

We sat down in the office, “I’ll get right to it, do you know about the deal King has with the woman who was here yesterday?” I asked, Sandy shook her head, “no, I’ve never heard of that woman before, nor have I seen her.” “Ok, I need to take a look at all the books for income and expenditure over the last 12 months. I also need to see the files of every girl you have employed here.&rdquo
