The women were reunited with family members at the hospital. So many tears were shed by both the women and the families. Selina, Tina’s friend, walked over to us, holding the hand of a woman who looked like an older version of her. “This is my mom.” She told us, her eyes filling with tears again. “Thank you, for saving my baby girl and bringing her back home to us.” She told Ink. Ink nodded. “My pleasure ma’am.”

One by one, the families left, taking their girl back home. There was just me and Tina in the waiting room. “You ready?” I asked her, she nodded. I took her hand and led her out into the truck I had picked up from the club when Tina went to the hospital. We walked in silence to my truck, and I helped her in.
