Chapter Sixty

We drove the thirty miles to Broadview in tense silence. We all had our own reasons for wanting to do this. Brandon started out doing it because we’re friends and he’s always game for a good fight but now it was because of Kimberley. Rev hated anyone that I hated and he’s always had my back, not matter what or who.

Jasper has been my older brother of sorts, I wouldn’t say he was a father figure to me but we were so involved with each other’s lives that no matter what happened we’d always be there for each other. He had become invested in finding proof against Joseph even though he wasn’t close with my father.

Me on the other hand, I had every reason in the book to do this. Those bastards took my parents, ripped my family apart and then tried to ruin me as a Sire, make my life a living hell and thought they’d get away with it all.

The house was located on the outskirts of Broadview and we stopped the car a mile away from it. There were a few guards walking the perimeter of the mansion.
