Chapter 44

Leah put back the remaining part of the substance into her pocket, about to carry the tray, Natasha entered the kitchen.

"Leah," she said, and Leah's heart skipped a beat. Leah tried to appear calm, so she kept her expression neutral as she responded, "Yes?"

" I will take the juice to Maam Ashley, you can go and finish up the laundry. Natasha instructed and Leah nodded in response.

Leah left hoping that Natasha didn't suspect anything, well she did everything before she could enter the kitchen so there was no way she would presume anything. Leah decided to shrug off the thought of Natasha suspecting her or noticing any strange movements.

It wasn't minutes before Natasha came back to the living room with the juice. She handed it over to Ashley and she gulped it down in beats.

" Thanks, I was very thirsty " Ashley shot her a grateful smile, dropping the glass back on the tray on the table.
