"What!" exclaimed Jared in surprise. His normally Lovable and sweet wife, capable of killing someone? It seemed unbelievable.

"Excuse me," he said to the two detectives, "I think you have come to the wrong place, My wife would never do such a thing," Jared said, putting on a defence for Elena.

"Are you sure about that, Mr. Cooker?" the Lead detective asked, raising an eyebrow. "We have some pretty compelling evidence."

"I'm telling you, you've got the wrong woman," Jared insisted. "My wife is kind and loving. She would never do anything like this."

"Mr cooker, do I look like I'm here for chit-chat!" Jason couldn't help but raise his voice. Ashley gently touched him on his shoulders as a sign for him to calm down.

"Ashley! What the hell is going on " Jared asked, he still couldn't grasp what they were insinuating.

" Your wife tried to poison me, Dad," Ashley said.

" Why would Elena do that?!, Ashley, are you trying to frame your stepmother because I chose her over your mother!" Jare
