ABIGAILIt was almost evening when Gavin showed up. We decided to have our food outside in the garden. We had decorated the garden before Gavin showed up. We had brought out some flowers to put on the table to make it pretty. Next we had decorated the whole garden with string bulbs. It was very beautiful. Gavin was a man in his mid forties. He was actually cute. He had a blonde buzz cut and we'll trimmed beard. He had startling blue eyes and he had dimples whenever he smiled. When he showed up I had to admit I was a little wary of him at first. I love Grace like she was my mother and I'll do anything to protect her. But Gavin came and brought her a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine with him. He was also nervous when he took in the full house and I saw the way he looks at Grace when she wasn't looking. I knew right then that he was okay, not like I had any say in it though. I turned to look at Nicholas who had been surprisingly quiet after the announcement. I keep expecting hi
Nicholas didn't come home and we didn't know where he went either. I tried calling him several times but he didn't pick and soon I was directed to the voicemail. We cleared out the food and the garden then went outside to go and wait for Nicholas but he didn't show up. We were all worried and I have no idea where he could have gone."You...you don't think he went back to New York, do you?" Gavin asked as we waited outside for Nicholas.I shook my head at him. "No, no, Nicholas wouldn't do that."Grace nodded her head at me. "Yeah, he wouldn't leave her behind at least." She motioned to me and I frowned but didn't say anything."Alright then, I'll ask some of the guys to be on the look out for him." Gavin suggested but I shook my head at him."Please don't do that." I told him, "He will come back. Just...just give him the space he needs."Grace sighed warily. "She's right Gavin, just don't worry about it.""Okay, just call me when he gets back." Gavin said pulling Grace into his arms.G
Oh my God! Nicholas was kissing me!He was kissing me! And goddamn he could kiss! His lips were pressed firmly against mine as we moved in perfect sync. I moaned when Nicholas angled my head so he could kiss me better and I wrapped my arms around him, bringing him closer to me. Nicholas let our groan from his chest as he suddenly pushed me back against the couch not breaking the kiss. His lips were soft but they kissed me firmly. Our tongues danced with each other, exploring each other's taste."Abigail." Nicholas breathed out my name as he moved to my neck.I gasped as Nicholas assaulted my neck with kisses. I fisted my shirt in his hands as he pressed himself against me, careful not to let his all his weight rest on me."Ahhh Nic..." | breathed out when he reached up to cup my breast, swiping his thumb across my nipple. They were super sensitive to his touch, in fact my whole body was. Nicholas returned back to kissing me and I moaned as I brought my legs up needing him close to him
NICHOLAS (Age 16, 4 years ago) The picture frame of our family that hung on the wall fell down the floor with a loud crash that caused the glass to shatter and scatter across the floor where my mom laid, her arms curled protectively against her middle as she cried. Her nose was broken, I could tell from the way the blood was gushing out. She had several cuts all over her face and lips. I looked up to see the figure that loomed over her, breathing heavily as he towered above my mom's small frame, the man that is my father, Jack. "Where is it?" He yelled angrily as he stared down at my mom, "Where's it Grace?" My mom let out a whimper as she shook her head, "I told you, we...we don't have it!" That was a wrong answer because Jack kicked my mom right in the middle and she let out a painful moan but tried to get away from him. I glared at the man from where I was sitting on the floor in the living room with my hands clamped tightly against my three year old sister, Esmeralda's ears.
Taylor's swift voice singing to 'Welcome to New York' blared from my headphones as I stood in front of the University, New York University! I finally made it! The school of my dreams! I've waited so long to get my application from NYU, it was so bad I'd wake up around midnight to check my email and see if I had gotten an admission letter. After waiting for weeks, I later saw that I had been accepted to study literary studies in NYU much to my parents happiness and now I'm finally here. I wheeled my suitcase to my apartment in St George Clark hall. I met a couple of first year students like me in the hallway. Some of them smiled at me and I returned it, others focused on moving their stuff into their apartment and some even came with their parents. I smiled wistfully at a student whose mom was fussing over and asking if she packed some extra blankets because of the cold. I wished my parents too could have followed me but the flight expenses and all. Shaking my head out of wistful tho
Carlacia and I sat on the couch with a tub of vanilla ice cream and two packets of Oreo. We decided to watch a movie on the television and relax after unpacking and setting up our rooms. We were halfway through the movie when we heard a knock on the door. Carlacia and I stared at the door, then at each other. "You expecting somebody?" I asked her.Carlacia frowned as she shook her head, "Not at all."We both stood up and walked towards the door carefully. I looked at Carlacia who nodded her head at me and I opened the door, only to find a guy dressed in a pink hoodie and a pair of jean trousers standing outside. "Oh look it's the hallway girls!" The boy squealed excitedly while I raised my eyebrows up in confusion. "The who girls?" Carlacia asked cocking her eyebrows up in confusion. The boy waved it off, "You know, your mini welcome party in the hallway? Everyone's talking about it and that's what they are calling you now, the hallway girls.""Yeah, I don't think I want to be cal
She was here! Abigail Howard! I'd recognize her anywhere, those green eyes of hers, her smile, the sound of her laugh! I couldn't believe that she was right here in my house. The moment she entered the house and began dancing was when I saw her. I was in the kitchen watching her dance with her friends, or at least I hope one of them was. The Bieber wanna be guy that was dancing too close to her made me want to go over there and punch him in his smug face. I didn't even know she came to NYU, I didn't know she got in! Looking at her from the kitchen everything about her seems different. She had grown into a woman now, no longer the stiff skinny fourteen year old girl with glasses, now she had curves in the right places and she seems more confident and very beautiful, in that innocent kind of way. I know I wasn't the only one who thought that too, every warm blooded guy in this place thought so, the way they circled around her like flies proved it but she paid them no heed. I wonder if
(14 years ago)I played with my doll on the playground during recess in school. It was the new barbie doll that came out last week which they advertised on television and I asked my parents to get for me. I smiled as I brushed the doll's hair and twirled her around in her pink glittery dress. I was still playing with the doll when suddenly it was snatched from me. I looked up only to find Billy Evans, the big bully in our class standing in front of me a smirk on his face. "What have we got here?" Billy asked twirling the doll in his hand. I stood up from the ground, "Give it back Billy.""No, it's mine now!" Billy said tucking the doll in his arms. "No, it isn't!" I said looking at him in confusion, "It's mine!""Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it?" Billy sneered at me as he waved the doll in front of me but then the arm suddenly fell off, he broke it!"Oopsies." Billy said with mock sympathy and just like that, I snapped. I sat down on the sand and started wailing loudly, n
