Chapter - 2 Slave

Diana continued after a while, "I'll become a sex slave but you'll be alive and you can come to get me when you recover your strength. That's the best option Jasmine. Please, listen to me. Kira will be here anytime soon; you should leave."

Tears fell down Jasmine's eyes as she sobbed. She bent down to Diana's level and gave her a warm hug that was right enough to convey her emotions but not enough to break her fragile bones.

"You should leave now," Diana advised.

Jasmine pulled away with puffy eyes, "I'll come back for you. I promise," she promised and dashed into the darkness.

Diana let out a sigh of relief as her head made contact with the unwelcoming concrete ground. She had just closed her eyes when she heard a loud thud beside her.

She opened her eyes to see a bloodied Jasmine next to her, barely breathing. She froze when at the sight before her. What is going on? She was just here in one piece a minute ago.

"How dare you try to escape from here?" Kira questioned as she crouched to the ground and stared into Jasmine's eyes, "Keep pulling all these stunts and you'll be as good as dead."

"Jasmine, don't do anything stupid," Diana warned when she saw the anger in her eyes.

Jasmine ignored her and spat in Kira's face, "How's that—" she choked on her words as she felt a sharp pain in her neck.

"No!" Diana screamed in tears as Jasmine's lifeless body dropped to the ground with blood flowing from her neck.

Kira threw the bloody silver knife to the side and dusted her hands, "Bring the weak one to the stage," she said nonchalantly.

"Jasmine!" Diana screamed in tears as she was dragged away.

"How tragic," Rolex said emotionlessly while sipping his wine as he watched the frail girl being dragged off. He glanced at the dead body on the floor and threw out the wine with the glass  from his car window.

"How distasteful," he said as he watched the blood pool around her.

He stepped out of his car and made his way to the auction hall. He had been sipping wine in his car, which was parked near the back exit of the auction hall, when he saw a man dragging a lady who was covered in blood and bruises through the back door.

He had been accompanied by a lady brandishing a bloody silver knife in her hand and they had both stopped at the entrance of the exit.

He had seen how the lady was dragged in had been murdered but he couldn't care less. He didn't intervene in things that weren't his business.

He hadn't even noticed the frail girl till she was being taken away. The only thing he cared about was how they had all ruined his peaceful night, "Distasteful," he sighed as he entered the auction hall.

"Interesting," he murmured when he saw the frail girl being auctioned.

"2.5million," he heard someone say.

"3million," another said and the hall immediately went silent as no one wanted to bid higher.

Rolex clicked his tongue, "She does look too weak to do anything," he assessed and made his way to the VIP section.

"Alpha Rolex," the bouncers respectfully bowed their heads when he passed and made his way to one of the booths.

He had come to the auction when he heard they were auctioning sex slaves. He wasn't there to bid for one. He was just there to watch the Betas, Alphas and wolves of high calibres try to outbid each other for a sex slave they could easily get elsewhere.

"Idiots," he found it quite foolish for them to purchase an ordinary girl for millions that could be used for something better.

A display of wealth. That was how he saw it. They simply wanted to show off their wealth. Idiots.

"3 million. Going once!" the auctioneer said.

He watched as the girl shivered. Anger or fright? He wondered. As if she had heard him, she raised her head and he saw it. Her cyan eyes swirled with anger, hatred, repulsion.

"3 million. Going twice!" the auctioneer said.

Intriguing. He studied her as her eyes swept through the crowd before meeting his. She stared at him briefly before looking away.

"3 million—"

"5 million!" Rolex shouted, surprising himself by how loud he had been and the fear he had suddenly felt at the thought of losing her to someone else.

Everyone snapped their head in his direction, including the girl. Her stare made him uncomfortable. It felt like she was peering into the depths of his soul.

"5 million. Going once." The auctioneer announced, unable to mask the excitement in her voice.

"Going twice."

"Going thrice."

"Sold to VIP Booth 3!" she announced with a wide grin on her face.

"Alpha, please come with me," One of the bouncers uttered. Rolex nodded and followed him through a door at the far end of the room.

He entered the barely-furnished, spacious room. It had two three-seater couches opposite each other and a round table between the two couches, and a bar at the end of the room.

Distasteful. He scrunched up his nose in disgust.

"Alpha Trevor," The auctioneer beamed, bowing her head respectfully.

Oh! She's the one who murdered that girl. He stared at her with disgust. She had ruined his peaceful time.

"I'm Kira. It's an honor to meet you. Thank you for buying the girl. I—" she chattered.

"Where's the girl?" He interrupted her.

Kira clapped her hands and the frail girl was dragged into the room roughly by one of her men, "Handle her with care. She's my property now," he growled.

"Forgive his foolishness Alpha," Kira pleaded, annoyed at how he disregarded her and yet stood up for a mere slave.

"What's your name?" Rolex asked the girl. She glared at him and looked in the other direction, shocking everyone in the room, including Rolex.

Rolex clicked his tongue and crouched in front of her, "What's your name?" he asked politely as he peered into her eyes.

She shuddered at the murderous intent he was eminating and spoke out, "Diana."

"Get up, let's go," he commanded as he stood up.

Diana struggled to get up, realizing complaining was futile. She glanced at Kira with hate. I'll have my revenge.

"Alpha…" Kira voiced out but went quiet.

He looked back, "You'll receive your money in the next one hour. Any objections?" he asked a stunned Kira.

"N-no. Safe journey Alpha," she stuttered.

Rolex made his way out of the hall through a fast exit in the room. With a shattered heart and tears in her eyes, she staggered after Rolex.

"Umm…" Diana called out for Rolex, but it came out as a barely audible whisper. She felt the world spin around her before collapsing to the ground. Is this my end?

Rolex turned back at the sound of something hitting the ground, "Just great," he mused as he scooped her in his arms and made his way to his car.
