Chapter 5: Kate!

"What just happened?" Kate's legs trembled with fear. "How did he know Jia?"

Kate had always been cautious about concealing her true identity, so how did he manage to uncover it?

She stood in the room for a while until a maid arrived and informed her that the master had left the mansion but instructed her to wait in the bedroom, as he might return at any moment.

"Here?" Kate asked in a hushed tone.

"I can't be certain, but if the master said so, we can't allow you to leave," the maid replied with a sly grin. She was well aware that the girl before her was the favored prey of her master. However, Kate would be just a one-time indulgence, whereas she... she was the one the master often chose to play with.

"I'm sorry, but I have an evening class to attend, and I can't afford to miss the attendance," she replied, determined to leave.

"Is that so?" They wanted to keep Kate there, conflicting with Aziel's orders. In the end, she let her go. “Fine then; be here on time tomorrow.

Aziel had a big smile as he left his house, but he was shocked to find the stripper he desired so much in his bedroom.

Two hours earlier,

Aziel left his office feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. He had his heart set on Jia and no one else.

"Driver, take me home," he told his driver as the driver opened the car door. Aziel sat in the back seat, feeling sticky with sweat after the hot session in the office, and said to himself, "I will find you soon."

His phone buzzed, interrupting his thoughts. Irritated, he answered, "Who the hell is calling?"He checked his phone, and Max’s name flashed on the screen.

"Where are you?" Max asked excitedly.

"In hell," Aziel replied. Max rolled his eyes and urged Aziel to be serious and tell him his location.

"I am heading home," Aziel replied with a serious expression and a flat tone. "I have an evening class to attend. First, I need to take a shower and then leave."

"Seriously, man? All you do is work and work, except for the girls," Max teased.

"Remember who made me a professor there?" Aziel retorted.

"Come on, calm down," Max said, knowing that Aziel was still upset about a favor he had asked for. "I have a surprise for you," Max said, instructing him to open his email and check it out.

Aziel put his phone on speaker and checked his email. Max had sent a picture of a girl. The girl's appearance seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite remember where he had seen her before.

"Do you recognize her?" Max asked. "She's the one you've been looking for."

"What?" Aziel exclaimed, surprised. "You mean Jia?"

"Yeah, it's her," Max confirmed. "Just sit tight; she'll come to you in a day or two."

Aziel tried to ask more questions, "Hey, what do you mean?" but all he heard was the beep as Max hung up. "This guy!" Aziel cursed, growing even more curious.

Present time,

Aziel exited his house and took the car, as he had to give the lecture. Though he was not in the mood and wanted to stay with Jia for some more time, but he was a man who was devoted to his work, and then to his satisfaction. On the way to the University, all he could think about was the girl he just met.

It was all because of his curious friend Max, who found Jia’s information while Aziel was working in the office to release his frustration. On his way home, Max sent him an email with her picture and told him that he didn't have to go to her because she would find him soon.

However, he never expected her to come to him right away.

"Kate!" he whispered with a smile. "What a beautiful name."

Aziel was captivated by Kate's name, her appearance, and her beauty—the way she trembled and the way she looked nervous—making his imagination run wild thinking about her.

"Wait!" He snapped back to reality when he reached the university and stopped the car. "What kind of help does she want from me?" Aziel wondered. He knew he had already offered a substantial amount of four million dollars, but she had turned it down. Then what kind of help did she want from him?

Aziel felt a sudden urge to approach her and offer his help, but the wolf inside him urged patience, wanting to savor every moment with her.

Unable to resist any longer, he texted Max while on his way to the staff room, [Where are you? Tell me what kind of help she needs from me?]

Aziel was restless; he had never felt like this before. He was eagerly waiting for his reply and entered his cabin when he heard a familiar voice.

"Hey, you are here?" Aziel had just entered his office and was surprised to see Max waiting for him.

"What's going on?  Why are you here?" Aziel asked, puzzled.

Max explained that he had arrived half an hour early before Aziel's class to share more about Jia, “I just wanted to share some piece of news with you that you might need later.”

"Go ahead," Aziel said, taking a seat and adopting a serious tone.

Max smirked and asked, "What's in it for me?" Aziel reached into his drawer and pulled out an envelope. "Never mind, I'll just go to the dean and submit my resignation, and then you'll be responsible for this mess.”

"No, no, no! Wait—wait, and I'll tell you everything I know," Max hurriedly said, snatching the envelope and tearing it off. He did not want to deal with his scary dad. It was already hard for him to hire this mighty person.

"Well, you see, her brother is sick, and he has some kind of disease," Max explained nervously. "He needs a bone marrow transplant, and I've made a false report that you're his perfect match."

“What?” Aziel stood up from his seat in shock and annoyance and said, “Get the hell out of here,” and threw his pen at him to drive him away.

“Hi… I just gave you so much piece about your girl, but you are throwing me out?” Max said feeling wronged, to which Aziel reached the drawer once again and said, “I still have an envelope with me.”

“What? You bastard!” Max glared at him and, in the end, admitted defeat, “Fine, I will just leave.” He said and walked out of his cabin.

Aziel looked at his watch and shook his head. He had no time to think about Max’s mischief as he had the class to attend; he was already two minutes late, thanks to Max.

“Bastard!” Aziel cursed, as he never liked being late. He took hurried steps and reached in front of the classroom door, but someone bumped into him.

“I’m sorry! I’m really very sorry.” The other person apologized repeatedly, and rubbed her head in pain.

“It’s ok, are you ok?” Aziel asked and put his hand on her shoulder to see if she was fine, but when the girl looked up at him, they both were shocked.

“Kate?” Aziel remaked.
