Chapter Eight | His Weakness.

FRANCESCA

The last thing I recall was seeing Alexandros, my mate, so close to me, and my chest being brutally stabbed by him.

Gradually, my vision returns, and the earlier sharp pain in my chest has subsided now.

I don't know how long I've been unconscious, but I hope I didn't die.

Or perhaps I should have.

After all, suffering is what awaits me in my mate's captivity.
