“Have you guys decided on his name yet?” I asked, looking at the beautiful cherub in his arms.

Beautiful blue eyes, peachy skin, a head of hair that matched his mother’s color, and the most adorable button nose. He was so perfect.

“Matteo Ray,” he said, smiling at his firstborn. “Ray after his godmother just with a y instead of an e,” he said, winking at me.

Tears stung my eyes, but I desperately tried to keep them there because it would ruin my view of the little guy. It had meant everything to me when they asked me and Theo to be godparents to their son. To share the same middle name as him meant just as much to me.

This was a fantastic story. I’m planning on rereading your books when you get them all completed. Definitely worth reading a second time so just imagine how great the first time is.
