Chapter 19
Aidan sped down the road breaking all the traffic laws and regulations. It’s amazing how he didn’t cause any accident. We arrived on the scene and immediately I jumped out of the car, my eyes went searching for any signs of my parents. I saw a lot of people some with few scratches some being carried to the ambulance, some giving statements to the police but none of them were my parents.
Rumbling erupted from the building as bits of it was coming apart.
‘There’s some civilians trapped inside’ a man yelled from behind me, looking around something caught my eye. It was my dad’s car. I couldn’t mistake it for another.
Immediately my legs took to the building. I dodged the do not cross line and headed straight for the burning building. I was almost at the entrance until two hands wrapped round me and drew me back.
